Upside Down!

[Jannat felt on the floor. Jahaan was shocked]

[A crimson stain spreading all over her chest. Jahaan kept her body on his lap. She was losing her senses. He was constantly jerking her head.]

Jahaan: Ayyy.. Ayyy.. Jan... Jannn....Stay with me na... (Drops of tears falls on her).. Heyy Jannat... I... I love you na... I love you so much na (cuddles her)... Don't le... ave... me... (weeping so much).

[Jannat became senseless. Security came on the rooftop. Jahaan quickly took her to a nursing home. His T-shirt was also stained in red. The doctors took her to the operation theatre.]

[Jahaan was depressed by remembering her bloodshed and felt on the chair. His world was totally down and he closed his eyes to remember what happened in these few days; that smile, that voice, that cute behavior and everything.]

[2 hours have passed. The light outside of the operation room is still red. After 10 more minutes, the light became off. The doctor was coming out of the room. Jahaan rushes to him.]

Jahaan: Doctor, how is she?

Doctor: The operation was successful. But she had a terrible blood loss, that's why her health is very week. She needs time to recover.

Jahaan: Thank you so much, Doctor. Can I see her once?

Doctor: Give thanks to the God. He saved her. And yes, after 10 minutes you can visit her.

[Jahaan smiled. After 15 minutes a nurse called him to visit her.]

[Jahaan entered the room. There was a continued 'beep' sound and she was lying on the bed. The left hand was channelled because of her blood loss. Her eyes were closed and Jahaan walked to her and took a seat beside her bed.]

[As he kept his hand on her forehead, she slowly opened up her eyes. She noticed that it is Jahaan and he is so teary.]

Jannat: Jahaan... (Very trembling voice)

Jahaan: How are you feeling?

Jannat: Little good as I see you. But who shoot me?

Jahaan: I'll find out. You just take some rest.

Jannat: But Jahaan.. Your T-shirt.. It ruined because of me. You can't wear it anymore.

Jahaan: Are you totally an alien? I'm worried about you and you're thinking about my.... Arghhhhh... (In little anger) Do you've any idea how was my condition?

Jannat: (in a teasing tone) Why?? As I know, you don't trust me and also you don't have any feelings for me.

[Jahaan realises she didn't hear anything and also how she can.]

Jahaan: No.. Not that.. You became my very close friend these days. Umm.. I'll call Riya, she'll take care of your health. Bye..

[Jahaan left the room but she doesn't understand why he left like this?]

[In the evening, Riya came to visit Jannat. She told Jahaan that she can stay with her but he forbade her again and again. So, she left before night.]

[At 10:30 pm. a nurse fed her and while Jahaan came back, he told her to leave.]

Jahaan: I've dropped Riya at home.

Jannat: Have you ate anything?

Jahaan: Hmm... Riya asked me for dinner and I ate there.. (After a pause) Leave all of these. Tell me how are you feeling?

Jannat: I'm ok... You don't need to ask me again and again. Umm.. I just want to sleep.

Jahaan: Sure. Let me help you.

[Jahaan helped her to lay properly and settled down the pillow.]

[In the morning, Jannat is awake by sunlight but she doesn't find anyone, nor even Jahaan.]

[Within a minute, Jahaan entered her room with a rage. But he was looking like something different.]

Jannat: Hii, Jahaan.

Jahaan: (looked at Jannat) You told me that you trust me. Right?

Jannat: Umm.. Yeah.. But what happened?

Jahaan: Then why didn't you tell me about this guy.

[Jahaan showed a picture on his phone. She stopped seeing that image.]
