During the time of the evening, Hazel went to Xavier's room with the resignation letter and the emerald dress. She knocked on the door and it took some time before he told her to come in. She walked a little closer to where he stood by the window and stopped there.

"What did you come for" he asked after some short awkward silence

"I'll be leaving next tomorrow and I'm sure I wouldn't have time tomorrow to give you this" she said stretching out the letter

"Drop in on the table" he said without looking back
She dropped it "and also the dress you gave me for Lord Xyle's party, I came to return it also"

This time Xavier turned to look at her with such intense gaze

"Do you expect me to wear the dress?" He said

"No I don't"

"Then why return it? Its a gift and I don't recollect any gift I give"

"You can give it to Lady Dorin"

"Do you this she would collect something you have worn, keep it"

"Thank you, I will treasure it"

"Wait a little, I'll sign the letter right away so you wouldn't have to come back"

"Okay"

"Are you planning on standing"

"I can, its no big deal"

"Sure" he went closer to the table and sat, bringing out the quill and an ink and then signed on it "here, its done" he handed her the letter and she took it about to leave the room when Mrs Decron stepped in

"Wow" she said staring at Hazel "you are finally resigning"

"Yes ma'am, I am" she answered calmly

"What a good news" she then turned to Xavier "Dorin came around but she wasn't allowed to see you"

"Hmmn"

"She'll be coming tomorrow, so you can see her this time"

"I won't promise meeting her"

"You can't dodge this Son…"

"I HAVE TOLD YOU TO NEVER CALL ME THAT" he shouted

"I'm sorry" she squeaked out definitely scared

"Out" he ordered and she left. After some seconds, Hazel announced her leaving and turned around but stopped midway. Xavier noticed and asked what was wrong

"The bond" she said

"What about the bond?"

"You need to remove the bond, I'm no longer your servant or slave"

"—"

"I can't carry it to the Smith's mansion"

"—"

"Why aren't you responding?"

"The bond?"

"Yep"

"I…i c-cant" he shuttered out which was a first for Hazel

"…"

"I can't" he repeated firmly

"What do you mean you can't, its the master-slave bond you imprinted on me"

"—" he just shut his eyes tightly

"Isn't it the master slave bond" she questioned again slowly

"The bond is irremovable"
