Taehyung sassed.

Jeongguk stared at Taehyung with unknown gaze. But his eyes landed on the wound, his heart clenched unknowingly.

"Is it hurting?"
Jeongguk asked worriedly.

"Of course not! JK treated me well"
Taehyung said in sarcasm.

"What do you mean?"
"Nothing"
"And you don't have to get beaten up, JK can handle everything"
Taehyung sighed.

"I know but I want to be there for you. I may not be strong like your JK but still I wanna protect"
Taehyung huffed dramatically.

"Oh really? I can see that on your face"
Jeongguk rolled his eyes. Taehyung sighed.

"It's.... Anyways I will head to home"
Taehyung said sadly, Jeongguk frowned.

'Now what happened to this weirdo?'
Jeongguk stared at the sad hooman confusedly.

"W-why are you sad?"
Jeongguk cursed under his breath for stuttering.

"I am weak, I know. But not coward"
Tae muttered.

"Hey I didn't called you coward okay? Also I didn't called you weak. You are assuming it by yourself"
Jeongguk said coldly.

"Oh yeah. Right"
Tae smiled which was everything but happy.

'Will my sad charms work on this coldy?'
Tae thought in his mind.

"I w-will leave"
Tae take a huge sigh and turned around hanging his head low.

"I didn't meant in that way, I was just saying that you don't have to involve in our mess. You will get hurt till end, it's not easy to stay with the person like me who have this disease"
Jeongguk said in calm tone.

"I want to involve--"
"Then involve!! But I am telling you, if you will leave this place after making JK fall in love with you then you will regret... You--"
"I will die rather than regretting"
Jeongguk tighten his fist.

"Fine, do whatever you want to do. But I will not gonna fall for you, I know there might be any plan out of this making fall in love"
Jeongguk spat in cold voice.

'What is wrong with this coldy boldy? Do I look like so-- no Taehyung, his personality is like this, I have to understand his perspective'

"Why are you nodding your head? Thinking of another plan"
Jeongguk asked.

"Actually--"
"You were going, right? You should go, I can and I will manage now"
Jeongguk gestured the said boy to go.

"But kookie?"
"You took care of kookie. Now he is not here, I am here. I will manage"
"But what if you dissociated into kookie?"
"It's my problem, go and take rest you are looking like a potato"
Jeongguk deadpanned. Taehyung gasped.

"I will--- wait what?! Potato?!"
Taehyung stared at Jeongguk for any laugh or reaction but his face was stoic.

'The hell?! How can someone tease anyone with this straight face? At least he is caring for me...'

"Aww... Ggukkie cares for me, it's the first sign of love"
Tae winked.

"Go"
"Huh?"
"Go now, I am getting annoyed by your potato face."
Jeongguk said and left to his bedroom.

Taehyung's jaw dropped and he stared himself at the mobile's camera.

"Potato and me? Wow! I look handsome in swollen cheek too... Oh my charms!"
Tae flipped his mullet.
