I remember reading this book and being totally impressed. The setting was so vivid, I could imagine my shadow standing there and watching everything happen.
The inclusion of music in it at first raised my brows but as I kept on wondering, I thought, "you know, I really like this concept of music in it."

The first comment on the first chapter said something along the lines of 'this book has some potential' and I totally agree with it, your book is an amazing book that has a unique potential to become a film that I'd love to watch.
Yes, while I read the book, I realized I'd prefer it if it was a film rather than a book. I like how well you use words but one thing I noticed was how you used the word, "deadpanned" so often.
Like, Anirban deadpanned or she deadpanned and I'll say it really, (forgot the word for it), but it really makes me lose some interest, an alternative is, "Anirban warned flatly or Anirban said blankly".

The book cover is something I consider plain because normally, I like to go for a more bright and colorful cover but if you feel that's the best, then that's the best.
I like how you described it, it really made me understand a little bit of what the book would be about without spoiling too much.
Ilove how you write- you just seem to write for the love of it and it shows in your book, you're not scared to show the songs you like or say things the way you see it, you just seem original and real.
