Piper yawned as she walked down the hallway with her best friend, Jason.

"You okay, Pipes?" Jason asked.

"Yeah I'm fine. Just a little tired."

"You've yawned for than three times in the past minute. Stayed up doing homework?"

"Yes... I had so much to do!"

"Understandable. If you needed help, you could asked me. I finished it at dinner."

"Oh whatever, you're too smart."

"You're smart too, you just need to study more."

Jason and Piper continued to walk to class when their friend Leo walked up to them.

"Hey guys. Whatcha doing?"

"Leo, where did you come from?" Jason asked.

"Somewhere, what's it to you?"

"You were trying to find that girl you saw the other day, huh?" Piper asked.

"Oh shut up, beauty queen."

"Don't call me that."

"Well, you're beauty queen, and he's sparky."

"Sparky? Really?" Jason asked.

"Yep."

"Fine, whatever your mind comes up with."

"Guys, that kid is looking at Percy," Piper pointed at a younger wizard, with messy black hair and pale skin.

"Dude, are you okay?" Jason asked.

"What do you want...?"

"I'm Jason, and I'm just wondering what you're doing. You seem to be staring at someone. Are you lonely? Because you can sit with my friends and I if you want."

"I'm fine. I don't need your help."

"Jason, let me try," Piper suggested.

"Go ahead."

"Hey, how are you?" Piper asked him.

"I'm fine."

"Well you don't seem fine. What's your name?"

"It's Nico. Can you leave me alone now?"

"Oh my gods, I can't watch this anymore. Let's go." Leo grabbed Nico's hand and dragged him along and they all sat down.

"You guys suck."

"Yeah, yeah, I've heard that one before. Nothing original?" Leo asked.

"Shut up."

"Mhm. Okayyy, now Piper, take this, it'll help with your big sleepiness." Leo hands Piper a drink.

"Thanks Leo-"

Leo brings his hand back. "Only if I get something for a reward."

"Ugh, here. Take these." Piper hands Leo a box of matches and screws.

"Thanks." Leo hands Piper her caffeine. "Pleasure doing business with ya."

Piper took the drink and chugged it. "Woo! Much better."

"Sounds like we better head to class," Jason suggested.

"Finally," Nico responded and walked away.

Percy arrived in his classroom and walked over to Annabeth's desk. "I didn't finish the homework, did you?"

"Yes. I don't ever forget to do it. I have a schedule for each day."

"I could never. Nope, too lazy for that."
