Selina's POV

In the days that followed the turmoil of our ordeal, Greyson and I embarked on a journey of healing, finding solace in the warmth of our embrace and the gentle reassurances of our love. Each day brought us closer together, weaving a tapestry of hope and resilience that bound us inextricably to one another.

As time passed, the wounds of the past began to heal, leaving behind scars that served as a testament to our strength and perseverance. Together, we faced our demons with courage and determination, refusing to let the shadows of the past dictate our future.

Two weeks later, as the sun rose on graduation day, a sense of anticipation hung in the air. I went through my morning routine with a mixture of excitement and nervousness, carefully applying a touch of makeup and slipping into the dress Greyson had chosen for me. It was a stunning creation, the fabric soft against my skin, a symbol of his unwavering support and love. Paired with designer shoes, it was a testament to the life we were building together.

We arrived at the venue, greeted by a sea of faces buzzing with excitement. The air was charged with anticipation as we took our seats among friends and family. As the ceremony began, I felt a flutter of nerves in my stomach, a mix of excitement and apprehension.

One by one, names were called, and graduates stepped forward to receive their diplomas. When my turn came, I walked across the stage with a sense of pride, clutching the diploma and certificate that marked the culmination of years of hard work. Yet, beneath the surface, a pang of sadness tugged at my heart – my mother and brother were not here to witness this momentous occasion.

But as I looked out into the crowd, my eyes met Greyson's parents, their faces beaming with pride as they cheered me on. Their presence was a balm to my wounded soul, a reminder that family is not defined by blood but by love and acceptance.

When Greyson's name was called, the room erupted into cheers and applause. Our eyes met, and in that moment, I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude for the man who had stood by my side through it all.

As the ceremony drew to a close, caps were tossed into the air with reckless abandon, a symbol of the freedom and possibility that lay ahead. We emerged into the sunlight, greeted by the warm embrace of friends and family eager to celebrate our achievements.

Amidst the laughter and chatter, we raised our glasses in a toast to new beginnings, grateful for the journey that had brought us to this moment. We were surrounded by love and laughter, I knew that no matter what the future held, we would face it together, united in our strength and resilience.

As the celebration continued at the house, the atmosphere was filled with laughter and joy. Anthony and Kyle, with smiles lighting up their faces, introduced their respective girlfriends, Mia and Lily, to the group. Mia had a vibrant energy about her, while Lily exuded a quiet confidence. They quickly became part of the lively conversations, seamlessly fitting into the group dynamic.

As the night wore on, I found myself surrounded by laughter and camaraderie, realizing that I might have found my real friends in this eclectic group. We shared stories, jokes, and dreams, the warmth of our connection washing away the lingering shadows of doubt and loneliness.

Amidst the revelry, Greyson pulled me aside, leading me into the quiet sanctuary of the garden. There, beneath the twinkling stars, he gazed into my eyes with a tenderness that took my breath away. His words were a melody of love and devotion, each syllable a testament to the depth of his feelings for me.

With tears glistening in my eyes, I listened as Greyson poured his heart out, his words wrapping around me like a warm embrace. In that moment, surrounded by the beauty of the night and the love of those around us, I realized just how deeply I cared for him.

As Greyson finished his speech, my heart overflowed with emotion. I reached out to him, my voice trembling with emotion as I whispered, "I love you too, Greyson." And in that moment, our love ignited like a flame, burning bright against the backdrop of the night sky.

As we shared a tender kiss, the sound of cheers and applause filled the air, the unexpected display of affection taking everyone by surprise. In that moment realized that I really found the love of my life.
