SAVED BY HIM

Chapter 9

                                  Selina
I woke up at 9:30 which is pretty but I mean I was exhausted from yesterday so I slept a little longer. I went to the bathroom, did my business then I took my clothes of and stepped in the shower.

A small smile made its way up to my lips because of the perfect water temperature. I finished showering so I stepped out and grabbed one of my fluffy white towels then I went to the sink at started brushing my teeth.

Since I was gonna do a little bit of work around the house I just picked out a pair of shorts and a white crop top. I then walked downstairs to make myself something to eat before I begin with all the work.

After thinking for a while I decided on making some French toast with strawberries on top.

I gathered all the ingredients to make my breakfast and started mixing everything together.

I took the last toast our and started putting everything together.

I took a bite out of it at to my surprise it turned out pretty, well I mean I wasn't bad at cooking but I was the best at baking. When I was younger my mom and I used to make her famous cookies then we would surprise Luke and dad with them when they were back home.

I smiled at the memory and then continued eating my food.

Once my plate was empty I went to the kitchen sink and washed up everything I used.

Then I went to get all of the gardening supplies that I bought and  went to the backyard. I let out a heavy sigh because of the scene in front of me the whole place was a mess, I got to work right away.

I started by taking up all the dead flowers, them I swept away all the dried up leaves on the ground. It took me a while to finish because the backyard was huge but I did it.

I got  some dahlias, red roses, tulips, daisies and  sunflowers to plant so I put the soil where I wanted to plant them then placed them in and covered them up.

Once I was satisfied with how the place turned out I took up all the garbage bags that I used so the place wouldn't look messy  then I opened the back door and stepped in . I made sure to lock all the windows and doors just in case someone tried to break in and plus I was home alone.

I went upstairs and took out my pajamas and then took a shower.

By the time I finished showering and put my clothes on it was already 6:30 damn I didn't know I took so long to clean the backyard and plant the flowers.

I was pretty tired and hungry so I just ordered a pepperoni pizza instead of cooking. While I was waiting for the pizza I started thinking ' what if I got up job and the money that I would get from it I could  put it together with the money that I  already have , maybe I could try and get my own place or car I could get away from my father ' I thought about it for a while and it was a good idea so I was gonna go on with my plan .

I got my laptop and started searching for jobs that i could do. I scrolled for a while but I didn't find any good one so I'm just gonna search in town after school tomorrow.

The doorbell rang so I got the money , opened the door and payed for my food then I  closed it back and got a plate and something to drink.

I turned on the TV and clicked on Netflix to watch a random movie. Soon my eyelids started to get heavy so I turned the TV off ,put the leftovers in the fridge and went upstairs.

I brushed my teeth and then I set my alarm for tomorrow, then I went in my bed and got comfortable under the covers then I drifted off in a blissful sleep.
