Slammer

Marina walks to school with Bolton, miss Mason arranged for him and a few other boys to go on a school trip to a prison to sort their behaviour out so Marina wanted to walk with him before he leaves.
Turns out the bus is about to leave so we quickly say goodbye
"Try not to get shoved in the slammer,I know it will be hard for you" I say jokingly
Bolton scoffs "I'll try not to babe, but it sounds dead nice, my dad says it's like 5 star"
He kisses me and walks away to the mini bus

I frown slightly, I don't know if Bolton has ever seen his dad before but I don't think he's the god Bolton makes him out to be, it's sad seeing bolton so exploited by the idea of being like his dad.

I quickly smile when I see Bolton look at me, I wave then walk over to my friends.

The school day has ended and as I'm walking out the school doors I see the bus park up outside so I wait for Bolton to get out, I notice Bolton walk towards me, I smile and go to say hey-, he walks past me blankly,I turn to follow him but miss mason grabs my shoulder "I'd leave it poppet, he needs space, me and his mum will sort it"
I knod poorly and walk away.
I spent the whole walk home thinking about his face,
He looked so sad but so blank, it's like he didn't even notice me, did I do something wrong?

Authors note:
I don't like doing these but I want to apologise for this chapter being short, the majority of the episode is at the prison and I want to keep the most of the story just about Marina and Bolton also I want it to be like the episodes where characters have like basically no screen time 😭
