Baby

You are sat in the middle of maths when mr Lawson comes in and reports that the body of a baby has been found buried in school.
-fast forward a few hours-

The bell goes and you find Mika looking really upset
"You alright Mika?"
She slowly turns to you
"I just cant believe someone could do that to there baby" she sounds disgusted
"Well you have to think about it Mika , you don't know what happened , the baby could've been ill or something"
Mika falls silent when Carla hands us a petition to continue the fossil search where the baby was found
Mika has a go at Carla and Brett drags her aside while you go to comfort Carla
"Carla are you alright?"
Carla just stims and doesn't answer
"Carla it's ok, I think Mika is just upset about what's happened with the baby"
Carla keeps stimming but looks up at you
"Do you understand that this petition is inappropriate Carla?" You ask her but in a calm voice so she doesn't get upset
She starts speaking fast
" I just want to finish the search because that's what we were supposed to do so Danielle and aleesha told me I should write this"
You rolled your eyes when you figured out they were involved then suddenly miss Shackleton came through the crowd of students
"What's happening Marina"
She asks concerned
"Miss, people are getting upset about the petition, I was just trying to comfort Carla"
There was a pause
"Well thank you Marina let me handle it now"
You nod and walk away and hunt down Danielle and aleesha
Once you found them you drag them to the bathroom
"Why did you do that to Carla" you ask angrily
They look confused "what do you mean?"
" you told her to write that petition knowing it would get her in trouble"
"She was the one that was annoyed about the body stopping the search" Danielle butted in
You scoff
"Yeah but she probably doesn't understand what's happening and your exploiting that"
They both roll their eyes
"Whatever"
Then walk away
You was out to the playground to find Maxine crying
"Omg Maxine what's wrong"
She pauses and looks at you
"T-that baby , it's mine"
Your eyes widen
" omg babe have you told anyone"
She sniffles
"Yeah I've told janeece and Steph"
You quickly hug her and she starts explaining what happened with the baby, You pull away and listen
Once she's finished you start tearing up and hug her again then you walk her to miss mason's office so her and Steph can talk to the police about what happened.

As your walking from the office you see Danielle with aleesha shouting at mr Lawson and mr wilding so you walk over
"But sir I can't be kicked from the play , I'm the lead"
Mr wilding too looks angry about the situation but replies
"Maybe it's for your own good" the he returns to his classroom
"What's happened leesh?"
She crosses her arms
"Carla told me Lawson about the petition and now I've been kicked from the play"
"Well to be fair leesh what you did was wrong, Carla didn't deserve that" she rolled her eyes then dragged Danielle off with her.
The bell rang for the end of the day so you quickly ran back home.
