Phase Four: one

1908

"I don't like the sound of this." Sebastian Sallow said in stress, his arms crossed as he stared down at his wife with concern.

Y/n Sallow sighed, her foot tapping over the floor as she swallowed and stared back.

"I wasn't expecting you to be fond of it in the first place." Y/n let out awkwardly.

The married couple confronted each other in the middle of that living room in the Cragcroft home. Both their faces were inches apart as they tried to process the information.

"Why?" Sebastian asked in annoyance, still not wanting to proceed with it.

Y/n Sallow sighed, knowing she had already explained herself several times to him. She didn't blame Sebastian though, nor his behavior. It was common sense.

"You know why, Sebastian," Y/n looked down at her fingers, "It's been more than ten years. It's only best."

"And it should be for eternity!" Sebastian tried to maintain a calm voice, not wanting to wake up their sleeping children, "He should be dead, first of all."

"Hey!" Y/n warned him with a finger lift, "Keep your voice down. The children are resting."

Sebastian gave out a groan from the warning and ran his fingers through his brown hair in frustration. He just couldn't believe it.

"I'm coming with you."

"You know that's not a good idea." Y/n closed her eyes, "Especially, you."

Sebastian frowned.

"Besides, one of us has to stay with the kids. You're working at Hogwarts, just let them roam the castle until I'm back." Y/n suggested.

Sebastian complained like a child himself; throwing tantrums, kicking his feet, and being in denial over his wife's ventures.

"Owl me every chance you get." Sebastian Sallow kissed his wife's forehead, his hands suddenly grasping over the sides of her face as he spoke, "If I don't get an owl after a certain amount of time, I'm haunting you down." He spoke in a serious tone.

"You're so scary, Sallow," Y/n giggled to herself, not afraid of Sebastian's expression shift, and kissed his lips, "I'll be alright."

"Not as scary as what you're bloody doing." Sebastian frowned once again, "I have every right to be upset."

"Sebastian..." Y/n gave off an innocent stare at him.

Sebastian knew he couldn't be mad at Y/n. It was impossible. He was already lucky enough to have her as his wife, the mother of his kids, and everything. There were no worries.
