Quiet Peace

Quiet peace

I'm running from the ghost
The times are desperate
Where can I hide

The seas are calm enough
To set me free
It's my only hope

The star is about to blow
It's an old Wolf-Rayet star
That's eating it's neighbor

You never know what's coming
It's as if the universe is tilted
And is losing stars

Tell me I'll be free
Will I fall in love
It could be a new day

The wizard has spoken
The wind will blow
And we'll be free

You've always told me
That you really know me
Why can't you let me go

This is where I draw the line
I know that I must surrender
To the one true God

I must keep my faith
It's all I have in this crazy word
The days of peace will prevail

We're all going to die
That should be reason enough to love one another
But we don't
