Golden Age
We now live in the Golden Age of Stupidity
Where logic and good sense have taken a vacation.
An animal antiparasitic is being used to cure Covid
Even though there is no proof of its effectiveness
Without serious medical consequences.
Vaccines have been proven to stop Covid
But many are opposed to them.
Rumors about them have gone viral, no pun intended.
Guns, it seems, are being used to settle arguments
What happened to debate and legal means?
What's next, duels?
Climate change is a fact of life on this planet
And it's getting worse as time passes.
Yet nothing is being done to mitigate it.
The past is now no longer valid
Historical truth has been taken over by pundits
Who preach political nonsense.
Where has reason gone?
We are doomed to repeat the past
Killing is not the answer
If we are to survive, we need reason
Not illogic and false information
That's tainted with political agenda.
