Super Nova
It sure will someday get hot
And we'll all be in a dangerous spotWill Betelgeuse soon blow
Giving us a spectacular showWill we see muons escape
To show up as an exotic shapeWhy is a big star dim
Is it in a sarcastic whimDid it already explode
Or is it at the limit of its roadIk Pegasi is a binary star
That's really bizarreFortunately it's running away
Putting distance from us every dayIt's all in the star's core
A million fusion bombs moreA bunch of neutrons get caught
They are about to expel a lotThey pass through us every day
But a massive release is not okayWhen we see a bright light
It's already not rightWe might be bathed in a gamma ray burst
That will fry our brains or worstCosmic dangers are always there
Even if we don't really careA Super Nova sketch!
