A fir tree stands proud
Loaded with shiny ornaments
Glistening in an evening light!
Gathered around are presents
Wrapped in Christmas paper
Waiting for excited hands
To reveal their precious content!
It is the season for joy
Despite the dangerous times!
We wish for the beloved practices
But are restrained by caution!
The only thing that matters
Is the love that all this represents!
