Equestrian
My kingdom for a horse
That cries out from the generations
That have passed over the eons!
Humanity would not be here
Without the equestrian wonder
That propelled humans from the muck!
The horse made possible civilization
But it also became the motive force
Of wars and conquests!
Masters of the horse
Became rulers of the world!
It was a two-edged sword!
