Separation
A subtle separation between night and day
Expresses a desire to fathom the time
When a hallow moon reflected life
As it was in a long-ago time of strife
We are ruled by clock that ticks
Off the seconds of our lives
As if they were droplets from a rain
That falls simply on a natural plane
