Modern
Take me for a ride
Mine's in the shop
Check it out
Nothing lasts forever
It's the only thing
That gets me high
It's the ritz on wheels
It'll be the death of me
Modern life doesn't fit me to a tee

Hang
Do you live in a bad part of town
Do bullets fly all around
You need to get out of there
Before the you're beyond repair
Hang on and find a way out
You might have to go without
There's always a better life
On the outside without strife
Hang on and give it a try
I'm sure you don't want to die

Blue
I feel blue today
My heart is sunken
And I need you
When I'm with you
I'm no longer blue
You are my life
Don't you agree

Mirror
The face in the mirror isn't me
I'm someone else
Today I need to find the real me
But I only have a day to do it
I'm drifting in pain
I need to turn it around
I need your love to rescue me
It's the only way

Truth
The existential truth is Locked away
It rests upon an unequivocal belief
That's hidden in the dust of desire
Existence is ethereal in a physical state
We cannot perceive its true nature
It's lost in the bones of those who sacrificed
The most precious commodity in the universe

Devotion
We perceive the vision of devotion
And it's hidden from our inner eyes
It's lost in the dust of endless conflicts
That have destroyed the exigent meaning
Of what it means to exist in spiritual bliss

Imagination
There's no one quite like you
You make me want to drink your beauty
In the inner vision of my heart
My imagination runs rampant
Even before my eyes rest on your image
I see the wind caress your hair
I can sense the beating of your heart
It makes me want to experience your love
As I've never imagined before
