you and the narrator were together
though you had never seen the narrator
it never bothered you
still doesn't
though the narrator started thinking
there's so many endings where you could get hurt
he couldn't bare to see you hurt
though you hadn't gone through any of those luckily
you had gone through many endings
this time you went down one of the dangerous paths
the narrator instinctively went down in the parable and protected you
he didn't say a word
after he was sure you were ok he left
you tried to follow him
ask him who he was but he was gone
you weren't able to put two and two together
this happened multiple times
you feel bad that you're so comfortable with this random man
you're with the narrator not this mystery man
though something about being saved by them did get to you
you felt like they were your knight in shining armor
and you hated it
so the next time something happened you tried to deal with it yourself
then something's about to fall on you and he pulls you away
he's holding you
"are you ok?" he asks
it hits you
this is the narrator
you then laugh
the narrator is confused at first
but then you explain how you didn't know it was him
you were extremely embarrassed but you also saw the humor in it
the narrator did chuckled a bit with you
he was just happy you were both safe
