you and the narrator have been together for a while
not all that long but still a while
the narrator had been reading steam reviews for the stanley parable
he started working on it to make it better
he eventually overwhelmed himself to the point he was throwing things at times
he was trying to calm down but he was to upset
due to him being a bit of a shapeshifter it turned for the worse
he had become quite dangerous
you were caught off guard by this sudden change
you knew he could shapeshift
i mean that's how he looks human most the time
he's really just a shadow in a way
he is formless
but you didn't know it could get like this
it shocked you
but not scared
this was your partner and you knew he wouldn't do anything
he was just overwhelmed and you knew this
the narrator kept trying to calm down but couldn't
he didn't want to hurt you
"please, leave" he asked you worried that you'd get hurt if you stayed
"ok. if that's what you want, but i'll help in any way you need. i'm here for you" you said smiling at him and then leave
he continues to try to calm down
he can't
he starts getting more upset
then your words pop up in his head
he decides he needs your help
he can't calm himself down
so he goes to find you even in the state he's in he looks for you
he's of course worried about you getting hurt
but he also fears that if he doesn't get your help he'll stay like this forever
he finds you in your favorite place in the parable
he starts to go to you"
hello Narry" you say turning to him smiling
"come here" you say patting next to you
he slowly walks over to sit next to you
he's still worried about hurting you and you could tell
he sits next to you
"still can't calm down?" you ask
"no" he answers back with a sigh
you hum in response
you move closer to him and start rubbing his back
he starts to calm down rather quickly at this
the two of you sit comfortably as you rub his back
he eventually turns back to normal
he's exhausted
he falls asleep in your arms
you smile as he sleeps peacefully in your arms
you eventually fall asleep too
you both sleep comfortably and calmly together
A/N: there you go. at first i had no clue what i was going to do really but i think it turned out well in the end
