i have an idea that was inspired by someone else's story and i sadly can't remember the name

you've been in the parable for a long time now
you've also liked the narrator for a while
you just denied it saying it was something else
when you realized this you tried to ignore it not wanting to ruin the relationship you had with him
he also had feelings for you
he did close to the same thing even
he just kept denying it
he would convince himself that it was something else
he liked you from the beginning
he also realized this rather quickly and denied it even quicker
he couldn't like his main character

how would you even react
he tried so hard to ignore it
when he just accepted that he had feelings for you he said it was just a crush
it didn't mean anything
but it stayed
it never left like he had hoped
he loved you
he couldn't deny it
he thought about how he acted
he was very emotional at times
it could be overwhelming he thought
so he tried to calm down and not show as much emotion
and for you
you thought he might think you were cowardly
you never chose any path that seemed like anything other then safe
he might find you boring
you then started doing the more dangerous endings so he might think you're brave
not a coward
every ending you did that was dangerous he was very worried
he didn't want you to get hurt
but he didn't show this
and you then started thinking he didn't care
so the two of you made it worse not better
you went and started to do the games ending
at the end you started to walk to the pit for rocket league
"wait!" the narrator said just as you dropped down the pit
the narrator panicked
even though for the player it was a short time down there it was really very long until the game would reset
(this is the part i added from the other story)
there were monsters down there
they were merciless
(i remember the story that this is from was a narrator core story and x reader or y/n i think it was on wattpad and in that story it was Stanley's co-workers that had been turned into monsters like in the backrooms i believe though you can imagine them however you'd like of course. another idea could be they look like the weird monsters from Sad-ist animation. just a thought)
