the narrator wanted to do something new
add something fun
he wanted it to be something he hadn't done before for the parable
his first thought was something to do with water
some form of underwater adventure
though he wanted to do it with you and you couldn't swim(if you do know how to swim then you can't swim in the parable)so how would he counteract that?
then it hit him
he would be there
to make it even more fun he would be a merman
why not?
he could do it and this way he could maybe add an underwater city
yep it's decided
he's going to become a merman and take you through the underwater city
you're going to love it
he started working on it right away
when he was done he took you to the empty spot for the beach(yes it's the same place as the chapter before)you knew he had planned something but you didn't know what
he wouldn't tell you
though you knew it had to do with the water because one here you are at the water and two he told you to bring a swimsuit
well actually he gave you a swimsuit and told you to wear it
after you got it on he took the two of you to the beach
"what are we going to be doing here?" you asked him
he smiled brightly at you and then did a dramatic drop into the water
you were only shocked for a second before he popped his head out of the water
"come into the water, i have something to show you" he said waving you over
you did so but not without hesitating
once you were close enough the narrator pulled you under water
you shrieked before going under the water
the narrator chuckled at your reaction
"don't worry, i've got you" he said
somehow you could hear him clearly even though you're underwater
he then takes you to the city he's made
"what do you think?" he asks you
you're in awe
the city glows as fish swim around and through it
"it's beautiful" you try to say forgetting your underwater
he looks sees how you can't speak
"ah, right, we're underwater" he says and chuckles at his mistake
he then takes you you for a tour of his city
before you could finish the tour you needed to go up for air
he took you up for air
you're out of breath
"the city is beautiful" you say after catching your breath
"i'm happy you like it" he says smiling at you
he then takes you down again and finishes the tour
the two of you have a lot of fun under the water
then he lets go of you forgetting you can't swim
you can't say anything to him
he's so excited about showing you everything he doesn't notice
eventually you pass out not being able to swim to the beach for air
he luckily sees you and catches you before you hit the bottom
he takes you to the beach and does cpr
you cough up water
he laughs relieved
he kisses you quickly not thinking
you both are shocked by this
the narrator then turns as red as a tomato and disappears
you're also quite red at this
you smile and laugh at how flustered he got
