Morning was already there and Jennie was still sleeping in her bed—It's wasn't of her habits to oversleep but the pregnancy had taken all her energy and she needed to rest even when she did no effort during the day

The room was filled with the sound of her steady inhales and exhales as she snuggled under the blanket and her body sinking further into the mattress when suddenly a strong light hit her face, getting her out of her comfort

Her hand immediately went infront of her face to cover her eyes from the bright light that entered through the window—and after some struggles, she finally managed to pry her heavy eyelids apart, blinking against the brightness of the room as her eyes adjusted to the light

However, her body immediately straightened at the sight of a silhouette standing by the window, no one was supposed to be home with her. She was all alone, or she thought so....

she could feel her muscles tense as everything inside her screamed out of fear, she stayed stunned in her position unable to do anything. It felt like her body gave up on her the moment she saw that person standing infront of her, the seconds passed like hours as she looked at the shadow getting closer until she could see the details of the person's face that looked at her in worry and the more than familiar voice of her friend "Unnie, are you okay?" the woman asked with a hint of concern in her voice

Jennie's eyes instantly widened at the sight of Lisa, asking her if everything was fine while she almost gave her a heart attack— She couldn't help herself but grip the first pillow she found next to her and throw it with all her strength at her friend who flinshed at the brunette's sudden reaction "LALISA YOU SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME" she yelled, her voice trembeling with a mixture of fear and frustration. Her heart pounding uncontrollably, she buried her face in her hands in attempt to steady her breathing

Taken aback by her friend's reaction, Lisa steped back quickly—her expression a mix of shock and concern. She hadn't anticipated such a strong response from Jennie, whom she had only meant to check on

"Unnie, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to startle you" she exclaimed, her voice laced with remorse as she took a tentative step forward, hands raised in a rassuring gesture

The girl's breaths came in ragged gasps as she struggled to regain her composure, her heart still racing from the sudden adrenaline rush. Slowly, she lifted her head from her hands, meeting Lisa's apologetic gaze with a mixture of frustration and relief

"It's okay, just... don't sneak up on me like that again" the oldest managed to say, her voice shaky. Despite the lingering fear and anger, she couldn't help but feel grateful for her friend's concern, even if it had been poorly timed

With a nod of understanding, the youngest approached cautiously, offering a comforting hand on her shoulder "I promise, I won't. Are you alright? Do you need anything?" she asked, genuine concern evident in her voice.

The brunette let out a weary sigh, feeling the tension slowly dissipating as she leaned into her friend's reassuring touch. "No thanks" she muttered softly, shaking her head as she rubbed her temples in an attempt to ease the dizziness

Lisa who stood beside her, looked on with a mixture of concern and amusement "How did you even get in?" Jennie asked, her voice filled with curiosity as she glanced up at her friend

"Unnie, I lived here for three months. Of course I still have the keys" she replied with a hint of exasperation in her tone as if it should have been obvious

The oldest nodded, acknowledging the truth in Lisa's statement. "So, what are you doing here?" she asked, her brow furrowing slightly as she shifted her gaze back to her friend.
