THE ROGUE LUNA

My eyes widen a bit as I see thousands of people in a VERY large ballroom. Everyone is dressed in dresses and suits, which makes me glad we didn't. Everyone in the room stops to look at us, and I smirk. I strut into the room with the others following me. Most people go back to whatever worthless shit they were doing except a group of pick me bratz  who waltz up to us in glittering pink micro dresses. The lead blonde preppy cheerleader comes up to me and puts her hands on her hips and says to my face "bitch why are you here? Dumbass rogue." I smirk at her as I say "oh honey, go pick on some insecure bitch your own size. I'll could kick your ass if I wanted to, but you ain't worth my time." She just scoffs and walks away with what dignity she has left after I just roasted her. Sierra laughs and says to me, "Damn girl, you just murdered her cold-hearted!" I laugh, and we all wander over to get drinks. An ugly as all fuck male beta comes over and says to Yayla "damn. Girl, you're so hot this place is lighting on fire." She looks at him and says with a straight face "oops last time I committed arson, I killed five people. Guess I'll get a higher score this time." His jaw drops, we all laugh, and Niki high fives her as he speeds walks away. I look at them and tapping my earpiece and motioning for them to disperse.  We all have little communication devices in our earrings, so we can call backup in case we need it. We all move in different directions, and I wander over to where the women are talking. They all stop talking as I approach them. I stand by them and say, "Hello ladies. What's new?" One of the  females looks me up and down with an appraising look then says,"Damn girl.  Are you a rogue luna?" I grin and say,"Well, I guess you could call me that. My name is Kat." The woman smiles and says,"Good for you. My name is Nera." I smile, and then another woman standing beside Nera says,"Wait, if you're a rogue, Luna doesn't. Does that mean you have a mate?" I grin and say "nope I don't have a mate. I could. If I wanted to, but I don't need anyone to keep me safe. I can take care of myself, and there is NO way I will ever let a man control me. Ever."  The woman grins and nods her head, then says,"I like you. I'm Kiri." I grin."I'm Kat." Nera looks at me and asks."Who were those people you came with?" I smile and say,"That's my team. We're like family. Or a pack. Whatever you wanna call it." They smile, then Niki walks up behind me and grins as she says,"I see you're making new friends, Katie." I grin and say "Niki this is Nera and Kiri. Kiri and Nera meet Niki. Niki is part of my team. She's my best friend. We might as well be sisters." The women grin and talk some with Niki before Kiri asks me,"so do you have any real family?" Niki's jaw drops a little at the VERY direct question. I look her dead in the eye and say "my Real family, as you would call it, sent me to live with a psycho man not caring if I lived or died. This," I jester at all my friends who are near me now  then say "is my REAL family. They wouldn't leave me. Ever. And I wouldn't leave them. They saved me from a very bad place, and I will NOT have you questioning who my REAL family is." I use my alpha female tone, and she bows her head in shame and says,"Sorry, I didn't mean to question, I just merely wanted to know your status.  But it's obvious you're an alphas daughter with the tone you used. You wouldn't happen to be Alpha Dereck's sister, maybe?" Sierra glares at her and I flip my hair and say "bitch mind your own business before I lock you in our basement and have my friend here," I point to Sierra  and say "torture you." She gasps, and her and Nera quickly leave, and I laugh along with Yayla, Erra, Niki, and Nicole.

It's about an hour later when Yayla comes running up to me with a handsom-ish man in tow holding his hand. She looks really happy and excited as she stutters out to me "lookKatifoundmymateandhesabsoulutleyamazingandawesomeandhelovesmecanhecomebackwithus?!" I raise my eyebrows, smirk, and I put a hand on her shoulder and say slowly "English, please. Not gibberish." She groans and takes a deep breath, then she says , "I saaaiidd, look Kat I found my mate and he's absolutely amazing and awesome and he loves me. Can he come back home with us?" I grin and look at him and then back to her  as I answer her , "babe, have him meet me on the lawn, and I'll test him the way Harrold tested me when I first got here." Her eyes widen, and she grins. Then she says to him, "Listen here, Alec, you're gonna get your ass kicked, okay, but fight back because she decides whether or not you get to stay with me. She is like my  sister." What really makes me grin is the look of fear on his face as he nods. I nod to her and say, "Let's go." She nods and drags him outside, and I stand there as he stands opposite of me and looks at him. I then say,"Okay buddy, she's my sister, and you're gonna fight for her. And just so you know she isn't some little bitch to be dragged around on your whim. Oh, and she won't be joining your pack. You'll be joining the team if you're good enough. Now attack me bitch." He grins and lunges at me, claws extended and canines showing. I sidestep him as he tumbles onto the ground where I just was and click my tongue as I say "tut tut, that's not nearly good enough." He growls, and I grin. He jumps with no warning and tackles me to the ground. I knee him in the crotch and he yelps. I flip him over and put him in a head lock with my knee in the center of his back. I growl "SUBMIT" he whimpers and tries to get out of my hold. Obviously, it doesn't work. A couple seconds later, he bows his head and mutters, "I submit," I nod and get up, dusting myself off to see a large crowd of people standing there whispering. I hear someone shout, "How did she put down cloud packs strongest pack warrior?!" I also hear someone whisper."Last time, those fighting techniques were seen 75 years ago when there was still the  purebloods pack..." I put my hands on my hips and glare at the crowd and yell."That's it. Shows over. Go back to your normal useless lives." I look over to Alec. Yaylas supposed mate and say "your good. Nobody's ever been able to lay a hand on me. I wonder what Harrold will think." He looks confused as he asks."Who's Harrold?" I smirk as I say,"baisicly Yaylas dad. Oh, and my teacher." His jaw drops, and he looks scared, then I say  while putting my hand out for him to shake, which he does "your okay to come with us. Treat her with respect, or you'll have a ton of passed of rogues to deal with. And we're not exactly nice." He nods, and Yayla runs over and gives him a huge hug. I nod to her and walk away. A couple of hours later, Niki approaches me with the same thing. And the same thing happens, except this guy couldn't touch me. All the girls end up finding their mate. Not me, of course. Because even if I found my mate, I would reject him. I think the moon goddess knows this, and that's why she hasn't tried anything. Soon enough, the guys find their mates, too. And I'm ready to leave. I'm sooooo done with all this fake ass shit, and I think if another male approaches me asking to dance, I will just slit his throat.
