In the streets of Malta, while Owen and his group are trying to locate Delacourt to gather any information they can on Maisie's location. Something else was brewing on the flip side.

There were a pair of black cars driving through the city and towards a shoreline airport. Inside one of those cars was a slender woman of East Asian descent who had shoulder length blonde hair, and brown eyes. She also wore a white button up shirt with no sleeves, highlighted with a gold belt, dark leather slacks, and black heeled boots.

She pulled out a phone and answered the one who was calling her.

"I said I'd call you." The women spoke in an Australian accent.

"Rainn hasn't said a word. Any news on him?" A voice said.

"He's on his way here. Says he has the girl and a pink Raptor with him." The woman replied.

"Pink Raptor? Sounds familiar. Could be one of ours."The man observed

"Also, we'll need the payment before we deliver her to you." She requested.

"That was never part of our deal." The man argued.

"It is now, so unless you want your golden goose to get away, I suggest you accept it." The woman responded.

The man sighed.

"You better not pull one of these again or else it'll be the end of our partnership. But very well, you'll get what you want. But only because I'm desperate. Remember that." The man shut the call off.

"Desperate? Sure, you are, Lewis." The woman scoffed.

If he's so desperate to find this find her why doesn't he do it himself? Besides, even she wonders what they need her for. It's not like they created her. Perhaps the man just wants another pet, as if he doesn't have enough already.

"Madam Santos, the planes have arrived. The airport is a few minutes away." The driver called out.

"It better be. Our employer is getting impatient. A little too impatient might I add." The woman, Soyona Santos remarked.

The airport was little more than just a runaway. The plane carrying Maisie had just landed. She was inside of the plane being monitored by Delacourt.

She tried her best not to make eye contact with him. One wrong move could critically endanger her life. She wanted to be free. To live in the outside and not be confined to one house, but she didn't think it through.

"Where are you taking me?" Maisie questioned.

"To a safe place. That's all I'm gonna say about it." Delacourt answered.

"Safe?" Maisie said in disbelief.

"Look, it's either ya play along or not. Anything's fine by me, my business with you is almost done." Delacourt casually responded.

"Y-you can't just do this." Maisie stuttered.

"Ain't my call to make, and not yours either. Besides, you're whole existence is illegal so technically we can do this. See where I'm going, hmm?" Delacourt smugly replied.

She didn't show it, but this did hurt. Him saying that she doesn't have a choice in the matter mirrored what Owen said to her. And the fact that he said that her whole life shouldn't be allowed made it hurt even more.

Maisie almost wanted to cry. Why can't people see her just like any normal girl? If she wasn't a clone would she be treated any differently? If course she would. If that were the case she wouldn't be a copy of someone.
