Saw Ridge Cattle Co. (December 2020)

On a foggy night, a group of two individuals break into some kind of factory somewhere in Nevada. The two strangers were both wearing black hoodies and pants to conceal themselves in the darkness of the night.

The two ran into the building, in search of something. They carefully planned this out before, it was relatively easy to break in because there was no security present when they broke into the gate.

Once entering, they made sure not to make too much noise. Whilst there isn't too much security, they still need to be wary of attracting unwanted attention.

The factory wasn't one the was made to contain cattle despite what the company's name claims. You'd expect a bunch of cows to be contained in the pens but there were no cows at all. In reality, they just use that company name to make people think otherwise.

What were in the pens however, were a large quantity of Ceratopsians. Styracosaurus, Sinoceratops, Nasutocerarops, and the iconic Triceratops. This wasn't a factory for cattle, it was an illegal breeding facility.

Sometimes you wonder how some people can profit off of disasters. Humanity is already facing a problem because of prehistoric animals prancing around in modern day. Illegal breeding is just another thing to pile onto the list of issues they have to deal with in this day and age.

Some would say that breeding these magnificent creatures would be a morally correct decision. If they have good intentions, like preserving the animals so they can thrive. Then yes, it is justified. But when you're breeding dinosaurs in order to sell them off to people who just want to buy them for entertainment, that's where it gets complicated.

One of the intruders pulls out a flashlight and a camera to record their findings. The other pulls down their hood, revealing themselves to be Claire Dearing. Former operations manager of Jurassic World.

She came here with her associate, Zia Rodriguez because they heard about this place from an anonymous leaker who gave them information about the factory.

"We are currently inside an illegal Ceratopsian breeding facility. The juvenile are kept in cages to keep cost out. It's medieval." Zia started to record.

The two of them moved further. If they can show this to the authorities and have this place shut down, all the better for the dinosaurs. At least they'll get some fresh air.

Claire then hears a squeal from a lone cage. She walks in to get a better look and she sees a young Nasutocerarops. This one was put in a small, compact cage. It barely had any room in there for it to move.

Zia was already checking on the child. Looking to see if there were any problems with it. Usually when people cage up a single animal in a place where there are many of them, it might mean they're being quarantined because of some kind of disease.

Claire puts her hand on the baby's neck. The child then starts shaking it's head back in fourth in a excited manner.

"Why was this one separated?" Claire asked.

"Maybe he's not going to make it. It's either he has a disease or they're planning to euthanize him." Zia replied.

Claire shook her head. She's seen dinosaurs with diseases before. Terry himself used to have a disease known as Ragged Tooth. He was treated immediately to stop his gums from rotting but she wasn't seeing any problems with this juvenile.

By today, she's well aware of what people do with these kinds of animals. They breed them in order to sell. Granted, there are people who do that with modern animals. And a lot of the time they do it to sell pets to people. But the kinds of people who these creatures are sold to aren't exactly looking for a dinosaur to be the family dog.
