Epilogue 2

1 year after the proposal
The Wedding

I am going to throw up. I hold on tightly onto Sebastian's arm as we prepare to walk down the aisle. "It's going to fine my sweet boy everything is going to be perfect." He smiles at me and before I can even respond the music starts playing meaning it's time. I swallow all my nerves and walk down the aisle alongside Seb .I see all our friends smiling happily, Lily, Carmen, Lando and Danny all crying. My brother's and mom as well.

And finally my eyes make their way down the aisle to my soon to be husband, my eyes swelling with tears when I see he is already crying just by seeing me. He is perfect in every way possible.

I reach him and Seb puts my hands in his. I look at him and feel at peace, at home. We both smile at each other through the whole ceremony until it was time to say our vows. I decide to go first, " Max You showed me a love I unknowingly
needed in my life and by way Of that love you taught me to love myself and therefore better love others, and I will be forever greatful to you for that. You helped me see all the worth in life, you inspired me to be my best self, and you've continued to give me so much more. You nurtured me and helped me learn to grow and through that growth I can now honestly and Whole heartedly vow to strive to always be there for you, to be patient with you, to provide you with unconditional love and support, to communicate through the bad as well as the good, to give you only you all of me even the ugly bits and to love all of you. I look forward to our future with a hopeful heart and excited wonder."

Now it was him turn, " Alexander where do I even begin.You are my best friend, my confidant, and the love of my life. Today, I stand before you, promising to be your sanctuary in the storm, your haven of peace, and your source of unwavering support. I vow to listen with an open heart and to share my dreams and fears with you fearlessly. I promise to be your cheerleader, your partner in growth, and your anchor when life's waters get rough. With you, l've discovered the true essence of love, and l pledge to cherish and protect it with all that I am. I vow to love you unconditionally, to choose you every day, and to honor the sacred bond we share, for now and for always."

The officiant ask for the rings from Danny and we exchange them, "Alexander and Max have chosen rings to exchange with each other as a symbol of their unending love. As you place this ring on Alexander's finger, please repeat after me. With this ring, I thee wed and pledge you my love now and forever." Max repeats the vows and now it's my turn.

"Alexander , as you place this ring on Max's finger, please repeat after me. With this ring, I thee wed and pledge you my love now and forever."

"Now Do you Max Emilian Verstappen  take this man to be your lawfully wedded  husband, to live together in matrimony, to love him, comfort him, honor and keep him, in sickness and in health, in sorrow and in joy, to have and to hold, from this day forward, as long as you both shall live?"

"I do." Max says with a huge smile on his face.

"Now Do you Alexander Ronan Ildefonso Leclerc  take this man to be your lawfully wedded  husband, to live together in matrimony, to love him, comfort him, honor and keep him, in sickness and in health, in sorrow and in joy, to have and to hold, from this day forward, as long as you both shall live?"

"I do."

"By the authority vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and husband, you may now kiss!"

The moment he says that Max pulls me into a loving kiss holding me tightly. Afsterven he let go we look at each other for a moment before I say, " Always?" Max smiles "always"

10 years later

"Dad!! Daddy says I can't do karting!" Our five year old son, Theodore yells. I sigh at this as Max walks into the kitchen after putting our one year old daughter Amaya in her crib.

"I never said you couldn't do it I said just give it another year, you are still so young." I try and reason.

"But you said that last year! I want to race like Dad did and all my uncles, please daddy!!!!" I turn to look at Max for help but he gives me a knowing look, knowing I said Theo can do karting when he turns five. I just don't want my little boy to get hurt.

I finally give in, " Fine, he can take you this weekend." I sigh already regretting my decision. Theo jumps up and down giving us both a hug and a lot of thank you's before running off to play with his hot wheels in the living room.

I feel Max wrap his arms around me from behind and I lean into this chest as he gives me a kiss on my shoulder. "He's going to be fine I promise you, he has quite the teacher and I bet you all the guys will also be there especially since it's his first time trying it out." He tries and calms me.

"I know I just can't believe our little boy is growing up so fast." " Before we know it we are going to go watch him in his first F1 race" Max say's jokingly.

I hit his arm playfully, " Don't even say that I still need to get over the fact he is actually starting karting, I should have know he would want to follow in your footsteps the moment he started to get that cocky confidence from you."

Max laughs at my statement and just holds onto me, " We really did it" he says I look at him confused, " Got married, had kids, Alexander I am so thankful you gave me an opportunity to create this wonderful life with you, I love you."

"I love you too Max"
