"Muma" Little Aru said
"Hmm?"
"When Nani died, why did we burn her?"
"Well, in order for Nani's soul to be released we need to do that so she can go to heaven or get reincarnated. If we don't she will be stuck here and we don't want that."
"Will you do that for me too when I die?"
"Sh, enough of all that. Now who wants jalebi?" Krithika said, poking Aru in the stomach playfully
"Me!" Aru giggled

"Poppy, why do you even do this stuff!" Aru yelled, wanting answers
"Do what?"
"Bullying!" Aru said, exasperated
"I'm simply helping people see that the real world isn't rainbows and candy."
"By causing depression!?"
"Hmph, So what, All that matters is that I'm happy"
Aru blinked in anger. She remembered that they were on a cliff. Under the cliff was really deep water so deep that if you dropped something down, you could never get it back. Aru hadn't even noticed that they were so close to the edge.
"Poppy, let's continue this elsewhere-"
"Oh no you listen here Shah" Poppy said, getting closer to Aru, which prompted her to take a tiny step backwards.
"Ever since those weirdos and Aiden arrived at this school, you've been acting really strange. You were never this happy and i intend for it to stay that way for as long as possible"
She poked Aru in the chest so hard she fell. Backwards. Off the cliff.
Aru managed to grab onto the ledge.
"Poppy, please, go get help" Aru pleaded, hoping Popy wasn't cruel enough to let her die
"I was just going to tell you off and to tell you to stay away from Aiden, but this is even better" She grinned maliciously. She raised her foot
"Poppy, what are you doing? Wait, Poppy. Poppy please don't do this."
She stepped on her fingers. She let go.
Aru fell.
Why is it always me?, She thought, smiling with tears streaming down her face.

Aiden had a bad feeling. Aru hadn't returned from the bus because she left her book "Six of Crows" in there. He decided to walk out of the hotel to go and check on Aru. He peeked into the bus and saw that her book was still inside.
Strange, he thought.
Aiden then saw two figures at the edge of the cliff. Poppy and Aru. He wanted to yell out to them, but he didn't. Suddenly Aru fell backwards. She grabbed the ledge, and He heard her pleading with Poppy to help her. Poppy said something Aiden couldn't hear and raised her foot. Aiden ran towards them, but he was too late. Aru fell. And he couldn't do anything to help.
Poppy simply stood there and watched. Aiden ran to the ledge. He collapsed on his knees crying. The rest of the class came outside since they were wondering what was taking Aiden so long. When they noticed, Brynne, Rudy and Mini ran to Aiden, asking him what was wrong and where Aru was. When Aiden had calmed down, his face was expressionless.
