8. 𝘋𝘰 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘳𝘺

The wrecker replied with a hint of amusement, "Guess you have to figure it out." he shot a few strikes and her instincts kicked in. She maneuvered the flail weapon to take him down, swinging it straight at him. Her opponent couldn't help but be impressed by her brisk adaptation.

As they continued their clash, she managed to get a handle on it. They continued to blog each other's attacks until Wheeljack finally caught her off guard and knocked her to the ground. The girl groaned slightly as she lifted herself and looked up at him, the Cybertronian drew the end of his sword in front of her. He chuckled and removed his mask, revealing the sly smirk on his face-plate, "Haven't fought this good in a long time." the mech put his sharp katanas on his back and offered his free servo, Applejack gladly took it, "You're quite the competition, kid. Good job." he praised as she got up on her pedes.

She removed the dust off her armor and smiled, feeling a sense of pride at earning the respect of such a skilled warrior, "Thanks. Care to go another round?"

"As much as I would love to continue our little duel, I need to head back and fix the Jackhammer."

"Sure you don't want us to keep you company?" Bulkhead offered from the far part of the car storage.

"Nah, I will be fine." Wheeljack declined, "Ya better keep up with the training, they already got the hang of it anyway. We will keep in touch." he saluted and transformed into his vehicle form, as his tires screeched on the rough terrain, he drove off down the road.

In the meantime, the other half of the Autobot team trained in the boneyard. Fluttershy was doing fighting exercises with Bumblebee while Rainbow Dash was guided by Windblade on how to use her blaster.

As the element of loyalty was able to take proper aim at the made-of-scrap dummy, she made a shot right at the center, "Aw, yeah! Bullseye, baby!" Rainbow cheered as she lifted her arm in the air.

"Not bad." Windblade smirked and then looked at Twilight, "Alright, sparkles. You're up."

The purple femme nervously stepped to her, "Um- I'm not really certain if I have a built-in weapon..."

Her winged Autobot trainer put a servo on her shoulder-pad, "How we can find out if you don't try? Just focus on the target and concentrate. Believe me, it is not as scary as you think it is."

As she took a deep vent, Twilight's eyes locked on the target, lifting her arm towards it with precision and focus. The second she thought it was hopeless and it wouldn't work, she felt the parts of her hand shifting and to her complete surprise, it converted into a rail gun. Her friends stared at her in shock and right then, she pulled the trigger, unleashing a powerful blast of energy that shot the dummy with incredible speed and force. The energetic fire went right through the target, obliterating it in a dazzling display of light. Out of everyone's expectations, it also went straight to the rest of their teammates who were standing a bit further behind it. Sideswipe, Ultra Magnus and Drift with his mini-cons quickly jumped far from the blast which made a giant hole through an abandoned airplane beside them.

Twilight's heart raced with adrenaline as she watched the smoking remnants of the dummy dissipate into the air and the created hole cooling down from the blast. Rainbow Dash held her helm and glanced at her friend with amaze, "A rail gun?! Dude! That's so rad!"

Twilight put her weapon away and yelled at her robot friends in worry, "Are you guys okay?!"

Sideswipe got up from the soil and held the side of his helm, "Yeah uh- we are cool, just try not to point it towards us next time!" he advised.
