Chapter Eighteen
Peter

Peter, who was annoyed, glanced at Anna and thought to himself, "She always smiles as if her life is in the best possible state, but she says it's not; it's really strange."
Everyone was asleep except Peter, who was sleepless and kept tossing and turning in bed until he sat on the bed with a robe on and stared at a dark point in the room. Threatening this family with just a snow globe had occupied his mind; he decided to wait for a while to both investigate the situation and maybe make sure of the validity of those recent letters and also do some research on his way of revenge. After a while, he looked at the clock and realized that three hours had passed since midnight; at that moment he suddenly heard a scream. He opened his door and stood in the hallway.
Mr. Collins was also standing in the hallway and as he was going towards Peter, he said, "Did you wake up? Anna had her usual nightmare again; I'm very worried about her."
"I wasn't asleep at all; I want to go out and take a walk in the yard."
"Take a walk?! It's night, the weather is very cold."
"It doesn't matter. I'll wear warm clothes."
