Lisa then let out a big yawn before starting to get up. “I’m just going back to bed then. I'll see you when I see you.”

Jennie though just grabbed Lisa’s arm stopping her. “No..you need to eat something first. I thought you loved my pancakes. atry to have some. You can't go back to sleep on an empty stomach. You have gastrics.”

“But..there’s no coffee…and I can’t eat pancakes without coffee.” Lisa whined childishly.

“Knock knock. Is anyone there? Anybody home in that big brain of yours?"

"Chu…stop it." Jennie warned the older girl.

But apparently this morning, Jisoo chose to ignore Jennie's warning.

"Didn't you see the yellow mug? There’s your coffee. Just drink that. Why do you keep making it difficult for Jennie? She already cooks for you. At least let have her breakfast in peace." Jisoo keeps on taunting her.

“You know what, fine…I'll go make the damn coffee myself....” Lisa grumbled loudly. She pulled her arms away from Jennie and started to stand up again. This time grabbing the yellow mug with her. However, as soon as she grabbed it, Lisa winced as the hot coffee spilled onto her hands from the sudden jerky movement. Niki watched in alarmed as Lisa instantly let go of the mug before it crashed onto the kitchen floor breaking into pieces.

“Lisa!” All occupants on the table shouted at the same time.

Niki quickly got up to take the dish towel and wipe the spilled coffee on the table, while Jennie pulled her towards the sink running her hands under the cool tap water. Jisoo and Rosie were running towards the utility room in a rush.

They were back holding a broom and a mop but stopped in panic when they heard Lisa cry out in pain as she accidently stepped onto the broken glass.

“Shit..No! Lisa looked at me..Hey, no! Please look at me. Rosie, help me.” Jennie instructed as she tried to pull Lisa’s face towards hers.

Rosie dropped her broom as she called up Lisa's name several times.

"Niki, quick cover the blood." Jisoo said out loud.

Niki threw the wet towel onto the floor but the clothes are too thin. The blood quickly soaked through it. Jennie and Rosie tried to pull Lisa away but the tall girl stood firm.

"Lisa? Hey…this is Rosie? Papa sent me your Swiss choc stash and told me to use it only for emergencies. Lisa, do you want it now? Lisa? Come on. You can't ignore me. I'm your best friend, yeah?"

Lisa still didn't respond, she just stood there, her stare transfixed onto the blood now on the dish towel she saw on the floor.

"Chu! Clean that up! Palli!" Jennie shouted.

“Niki, move now!” Jisoo pushed her body aside before quickly wiping the blood and towel away with her mop.

Niki felt the members sense of urgency but she didn’t get it. They never tell her Lisa had Hemophobia. Fear of blood. Is that the reason why the members are always being careful with Lisa? Her questions were answered when she saw Lisa’s demeanour change. She can't explain it but she saw it as Lisa suddenly shrugged off Jennie’s and Rosie’s arms and she took a step forward.

When Lisa tilted her head towards her, Niki felt a sudden chill running through her body. Lisa's eyes. It's no longer dark brown. But now her whole iris turns black. Its total darkness. If Jennie’s glare made her uncomfortable before, it doesn't compare to the intense fear she felt looking into Lisa’s black eyes now.

As she took a hesitant step back, she  watched Lisa slowly let out a smile. It was not the same smile Lisa showed her on the first day they met. This smile was too wide, a touch too bright. Something is off.
