“Your main role was to make her life easier. You need to familiarise yourself with her needs, her schedules, make appointments for her and get her to where she needs to be on time. You’ll do whatever she asks you to do, no question asked. And you best remembered that above all, MY instructions precedes hers. When I tell you where she needs to go and even if she refuses, it's YOUR job to make sure she’s there. Rosie and Jisoonie will tell you any additional details you need. Do you have any questions?”

“Who do I report to?”

“Your direct supervisor will be Mina, my secretary and of course, me by extension. You can ask Mina all other questions regarding your work. If you accept, please sign that. It’s a Non-Disclosure Agreement so whatever you see and hear when you are with us will be kept at the utmost secrecy. If you choose to accept, you’ll start work tomorrow.”

Niki quickly wrote down her signature. What’s the worst that could happen?

In the first month, she didn’t even meet Lisa. She was just sitting in the office by Jennie’s secretary mostly to assist with her administrative work. It was a quiet month as Lisa schedules just consisted of her going to class or dance studio and as Jennie and the members seemed to be there with Lisa most of the time, Niki's presence was not needed. Whatever Lisa needs, Mina, Jisoo, Rosie or Jennie herself will text her.

When Jennie did text her, it was to ask her to run errands on Lisa’s behalf which was mostly to pick up the shopping bags from whichever designer boutique that Jennie sent her request to. And once she brings it back to the mansion, she will just have to organise Lisa’s wardrobe based on Jennie’s specifications. She even gets a call from Rosie or Jisoo asking her to bring over Lisa’s change of clothes, lunch packs or books that she accidentally left behind to the Uni. She will only need to take Lisa’s things and pass it to the driver and that’s it.

She also found out that the other three members were quite busy in their daily life as compared to Lisa. On top of being a student, Jennie was managing KiM Corporation as an acting CEO, Rosie being the Creative Director of Park production company and Jisoo playing her role as CIO of Kim’s Technology. They travelled a lot locally or overseas for their business and she will get a call from them or their assistance from early hours in the morning asking her to run errands for Lisa. It seemed like her job was more on assisting the three member’s in managing Lisa’s instead. It’s weird, it’s tiring and it’s consuming her life but she didn’t ask any questions. Especially when she saw her first payslip.

Though at the end of the second month she’s working there, she got a weird text from Lisa at nearly 2 o'clock in the morning. She was just arriving home from work after assisting Mina at their Board meeting today.

Lisa: Niki..could you drive me to Bam’s house? And I need you not to tell anyone
Niki: But Jennie told me that you are banned to go to his house
Lisa: I will drive myself then
Niki: You are not allowed to drive too
Lisa: That’s why I’m asking you. Jisoonie and Rosie are not home.
Niki: Will they drive you if they're at home?
Lisa: ….
Niki: ??
Lisa: Fine ... .no. But! This is something that I need to do! It’s important…pleasee..
Niki: Ok. Would this be considered as important and urgent? Jennie said I should do it if it is.
Lisa: Yes!
Niki: Hmm…okay. I’ll be there in 15 minutes.
Lisa: Yeay! Okay I’m gonna wait for you outside

When she did arrive at the mansion, she found Lisa sat on the front of the house pouting heavily while Jennie stood right beside her, her arms fully wrapped around herself, still in her full office attire tapping her foot impatiently.

“What the hell are you doing here?” Jennie greeted as soon as she walked out from her car.

“Erm….”
