I miss you

The burning I once felt for you is gone

The longing I had has disappeared

The few times we met turned into none

I miss you.

The pain in my chest is dull

The tears in my eyes are no longer full

The pushes I gave never received a pull

I miss you.

Now that you're gone I've never been more free

But you really became everything to me

The only remaining leaf on my dying tree

I miss you.

No one before seemed to care

And with you gone I'm in need of heavy repair

Along with the lingering memories of when we were a pair

I miss you.

I hate what you did to me

I hate how you left me

But I still wonder,

Do you ever find yourself missing me?
