a storm above the rain falls down
it's foggy weather
heavy storms drown you in a murky darkness
a feeling of solitude floats you up
but still twists and teases you
choking on each breath
the air swirling out of your grasp
breathless pulling, scrapping, scratching at the nothings you seem to need
the somethings that just seem to out of reach
like a razor cut rope wrapped around your neck
burning the skin bleeding out nonsense
a blurry vision swiped with fears
take away slowly those who appear
a lightning strike hits you once
hits you again as you shake and shiver
the storm has drained, dried out, gone cold
freezing you up holding you in place
unable to move
screaming is loud
fussing and crying with no purpose at all
but it still spills out drops of fresh tears
they take you over
too much to handle
they spit at the worst time and it's your job to conceal them
a sharp blade pierces into your soul
eyes all around
snapping pictures
above mirrors of glass form around your body
so tight that you can't seem to see a way out
you're stuck again
you stop crying you're fine
the ice and the people stop
the fake colors replaced a dull smile
to show your abandoned yellow teeth
eyes still open
but a thin gloss still lays
people gathered around keeping your heartbeat frantic
but you keep it inside
budding that familiar storm once again
