"Mr. Yu Sooman, I see you're doing well. How do you feel?"

Sooman gulped down silently, taking another peek at his daughter.

"...What is she doing here?"

The nurse looked back at Jimin briefly, before looking at Sooman again with a wide grin, "Miss Yu Jimin came here with her girlfriend some hours ago," She said, changing his serum bag, "She asked if she could stay here watching over you. She fell asleep not too long ago, she looked very tired-"

"-Is her girlfriend here?"

"She left a while ago, she said she would be back soon."

The nurse turned around and Sooman looked away as the door opened again. He saw Minjeong coming in, holding a plastic bag in her left hand, and closed the door behind her.

"Kim Minjeong shii, I see you're back."

"I went to buy a blanket, socks and slippers for Jimin, she's a little cold and her feet hurt."

"Alright, Mr. Yu, let's check on some things."

Sooman stared silently at Minjeong, as she adjusted Jimin's position. She searched for some stuff inside of the bag, taking a pair of brand new socks out of it, opening its package before sliding them up in Jimin's feet. Then, she also took a large blanket out of it; before she kneeled and leaned down, covering her up with it.

"...Minjeong ah."

Minjeong stopped what she was doing and turned to look at her father-in-law, surprised to hear him talking so informally to her.

"...Are you feeling better?"

"Yes but-"

"-Nurse, if she wakes up, tell me something-"

"-Kim."

Minjeong took in a deep breath, looking at Sooman seriously.

"Well, you're improving considerably. I'll leave you alone with them. The doctor will show up soon."

The nurse left the bedroom, and Minjeong smiled at her briefly before she closed the door. Then, she lowered down a little, pulling the blanket that was covering Jimin up a little more.

"Kim."

Minjeong leaned up, clearing her throat before she spoke, "Don't worry, I'll go home as soon as Jimin wakes up-"

"-I'd like to go to Minji's next medical check up."

Minjeong sighed.

"...You're only asking that because she's the heiress you need to keep up with your empire-"

"-My father worked hard to bring that bank up-"

"-Worked hard my ass. Everyone in this country knows you're the only chaebol allowed to have a bank within the group because your mother's older brother was Park Chunghee. That's why the president, excuse me, your cousin, asked you and all those other chaebols to support the Olympics," She stopped, "I do understand that my daughter is a chaebol too, but that doesn't mean I'm okay with her being forced into the system."

Sooman stared at her.

"...When Jimin had your son," He began, "She was cramping so bad after delivery that she decided to leave her bedroom on her own to get painkillers...She had a two degree tearing and with the effort she started bleeding. I was so ashamed of what she had done to our family's image that I just stared at her while she cried in pain. My pride couldn't even let me help her...What I mean, Kim," He muttered, looking at his daughter, "Don't treat her like I did. Be there when she cries. Be there when she's in pain. Be there when she's having her break downs. Be there when she smiles. Be there when she asks you to hold her. Be there when she has lots of people around her. Be there when she's all alone...But never abandon her like I did. Because I've reached a point in life in which I've noticed that I've been the worst father someone could possibly ask for. I was so selfish and dumb that I took every ounce of happiness my daughter had away. Because I was blind. I could only think about what people would think about me as a father. What they would think about me as a chairman. But I realized...that I never thought about how she felt. I couldn't see how happy you made her because everything I was worried about was the possibility of you stealing my money," He looked back at Minjeong.
