Chapter three:

I was sitting on my couch listening to Jessica on the phone with our mom and heard a muffled voice and then Jessica answer. 'I'm at Elles apartment. I went over after work cause I wanted to hang with her. Jeez.' I looked at my phone waiting for nothing. 'Sure mom.' Jessica came in the living room. 'Here, mom wants to make sure I'm actually with you.' She said handing me the phone.
'Hey mom! I'm at my apartment and I'm with Jessica. We had lunch and just talked while she did makeup and hair for me so I could look pretty on my date.' I said
'Well that's nice! Sisterly bonding! Anyway are you driving her home. She only has a learners permit you know.' She told me.
'No I'm not. Nialls picking me up. I'm leaving in like an hour and have nothing to wear so she's staying a little bit longer. Can you pick her up?' I was a little nervous about her answer.
'Sure, have her text me when your leaving. Have fun on your date sweetie, love you!'
'Love you too, bye!' I said. I gave Jessica her phone back and went to my closet looking for an outfit. I pulled out a short blue dress with lace trimming and set it aside. Then I pulled out a green silk shirt with different patterns and then some skinny jeans and then I set those aside. The last thing I pulled out was a flowy purple top and some shorts.
'Jessica? Can you come hear I need help picking out my outfit!' I yelled. She waltzed in and looked at my three different selections.
'Hmm, where's he taking you? Because you don't want to be too fancy.' She had a point. I shrugged and grabbed my phone. I asked him where we were going and about a minute later he texted back.
'Were going to Brandons up the road.' I told her. She picked up the flowy top and shorts,
'These'll do nicely.' She said handing me the outfit and nodding twards the bathroom. I went in and shut the door. I changed and fixed my hair.
'Tada!' I said as I walked out. Jessica looked pleased.
'Wow! You look great! Now to fix your makeup! It got smudged.' She patted the chair and I sat down.

Nialls POV

I couldn't wait to go on my date with Elle. She was just so beautiful. I was suprised she'd go for a guy like me. I went to my apartment and got into a plaid button down and kaki shorts. I fixed my hair and put on my black vans. I was ready to go. It was 6:45 and I wasn't just nervous I was sweating and pacing. I was so hot and sweaty I had to turn my fan on and sit there for ten minutes. I looked at my phone, 6:55. Oh no, I'm gonna be late. I grabbed my keys and hopped into the car. I sped to her house in two minutes. I sat there for a minute and fixed my hair. I got out and walked to her door and knocked. In a matter of minutes a girl opened the door. She had short brown hair and dark green eyes. It was Jessica. She was about to be 16 and couldn't wait. (My mum and hers are besties) Then the door opened a bit more and I saw Elle. She looked so perfect. She looked so perfect standing there in my American apparel underw- ' Hello? Niall?' Elle called. Ugh I zoned out, again.
'Uh what? Sorry I zoned out. Shall we?' I asked as we walked down the steps hand in hand I asked her what she's been up to latley. She went to Asia. Isn't she the coolest?

We sat down and ordered our drinks. I got a beer and she got tea. I mentally slapped myself after remebering in she wasn't into achohol. Stupid. We sat in silence for what seemed like hours. She looked at me and smiled. I smiled back.

When we were finished I paid and we went outside. We sat in front of the fountain in silence. We turned and faced each other. We were so close. I leaned in and kissed her. Kissed her. I don't know why but she looked more happy then suprised.
'Wanna go back to my place and hang out?' She asked. I nodded then we hopped in the car and drove back to her place. The rest is a blur but I know something happened and it wasn't good.
