I wiped my tears and we went out of the washroom.

"Btw short people look cute " he said walking past.

(Aashika's POV)

I smiled feeling good, all that anxiety and insecurity was over, he isn't that bad ,he was joking and I took it this serious. I should've trusted my brother's choice in friendship, he has a really good friend circle. All his friends are good, funny, respectful and smart. All of them are like my brothers and he... . I hesitated. I asked myself again, but no reply again. He is not my brother.. ya he isn't. I don't know I just trust my gut feeling, so I will. not make him my brother. Hmm.

I am really acting sus now, but it's not like that I just  ... . Before I could think this someone snapped their fingers, I came out of my dreamy world. It was him  again .

"I was coming  "

"Since ages, we have been waiting for u "

"hehe "

"Now pls proceed " 

"Hmm " I nodded

I followed  him, he went on the counter for some drinks . He was placing order, while I was standing beside him.

"Drink? " he asked

"No.. "

" Ohh , not in mood today ? "

"I left drinking "

"but shubman said you do "

"Actually once I lied to bhaiya and went to club and i drank alot. Bhaiya got to know about it and he was really angry, so since then I don't drink "

" Obedient sister huh ? "

"Hmm "

"No problem, u want a normal mojito tho? "

"Ya that would be fine for me"

"Okk"

We took our drinks and went on our table .

"Aashika, do you have some hidden talent? " he questioned

"No, I mean I am unaware because I have never tried anything else. I know golf tho"

"anything other than sports? "

" No, what about you "

"Ya I know a little bit of singing "

"Woah that's nice, you would then be such an entertainment box for the team "

"ya kinda "

My eyes fell on the small. stage present on the side of the big room, there was this music setup. Where a local band stood, they looked all ready to perform.

"Look! A singing performance "

"You enjoy performances ? "

"Ya i doo "

"It's a local band right "

"hmmm "

The band started singing an upbeat music, it filled lots of joy  in the room , everyone looked at them, all of them were clapping. The performance was well deserving.

"What a talent! " he said clapping

"Guys let's join them, what do  you both think? " jemii asked

"Nice idea, let's join them and sing our favorite songs . What about you aashika? "

"Ya nice idea, I am in "

We walked towards the stage, and joined them, we took the microphones and sang along the group, everyone around us were clapping and cheerimg us , some were singing along too. We sang our hearts out, it was all too fun. All of us 3 were happily and genuinely enjoying. After a long moment of singing and vibing , we returned the microphones and the show ended. We went back  to our seat. I picked up the water bottle and gulped the water.

"It was too much fun right " he said laughing

"YESS! " I replied

"You guys are legit of my vibe"

"Yaa, I never thought myself of singing  on the stage in front of these many people, I am really proud of myself  . And the way all others were applauding and cheering us "

"Hmm, and I know what you hidden talent is, aashika " he said

"What is it then? "

"Singing ! "

"No.. I don't have a good voice"

"Why are you lying duh, u had such an soothing voice, I am your fan now "

" Fan kyu AC hi ban jaa " jemi said jokingly

(Why fan be her Ac only)

"I dont complement others alot but you really have an amazing voice "

"Thanks, you too were singing good, who knew u had such a great voice "  I complimented

He chuckled, when his phone rang, he answered the call.

After a while and moment of silence between us three, it was he who responded
" I have to go guys, actually it was my mom, she has something important to talk about " 

"Ohh ok, you better go " jemi said

"I have to leave too " I said

"I will drop you if u want " he said

"No I am all by myself I will go " I replied politely

"Ok then, I am going . You guys take care and go safely ok "

"Hmm byeee " jemi said

"Umm you wouldn't say bye?" jemi whispered , he was standing as if waiting for my reply.

"Bye.. thanks and  you know why " I said giving him a smile and  he went.

"Nice aashu, now you both have some other personal reasons huh? now you are hiding things from me too  " jemi taunted me

"It's nothing like that "

"Or it is huh? " she winked at me , I scratched my head in confusing, trying to figure out what was her motive behind that wink.
