A Trollhunter turned King

ok guys this will probably be my last art drop for this story. not to say im going to stop posting art related to it just it wont be in big quantities like this. anyway, lets get into it.

for Claire i had the help of a lot of fan art about her being the trollhunter and her being all half trolled by Merlin so i took inspiration from a lot of different artist. i was going to keep her eyes her normal brown, but that didn't look as interesting as the purple. her tail was a last minute decision but i like how it came out. if i haven't mentioned it yet, Claire has her white streak back and it's just an effect of her using her powers, not a Morgana possession thing. i also though she looked adorable with freckles so i couldn't resist. i don't really know why i gave her the arm fluff but it just felt right to me.

for Toby, i knew even before i started writing this story that if i ever drew him as a half troll he would be orange and have ram like horns. i gave him similar chin scruff, like Jim's because i thought it showed more maturity in him, the scruff being like facial hair to trolls. a friend of mine that enjoys the show as well, pitched me the idea of him having two sets of tusks and i really liked it. of course, being the trollhunter he is not as . . heavy? as he is in the show, due to harder training, but he's still chubby. obviously, the amulet doesn't glow in his pocket when they are trying to sneak around but i wanted to include it in the drawing somehow. now this is Toby as a half troll, if we were talking full troll, he would without a doubt be a quagawump, and no one is changing my mind on that.

the Tarrons don't change much, like I've said, as not being human already makes them none targetable, or less targetable. i loved the idea of making Aja a little more animalistic or 'monster' like because she wasn't human to begin with. the big things i wanted was the tail and having all four of her arms in the design. i combined her Akiridian and human clothes to better represent both sides of her.

i had a lot of fun drawing Krel, more so than any of the others, including Jim, which is weird because i have an obsession with him. anyway- a lot of the same things apply to Krel like they did Aja. i really love how his clothes turned out and how well they fit together. i noticed that their horns make them look more like demons (or imps) but i kinda like it. i also couldn't pass up the opportunity to give our homosexual alien(yes i know they don't like that term) some make up and eye shadow. Krel is the king of sass and so i had to show that in his expression.

i made this height chart for the earth bound teens because i made ticktocks for all of them.(my @dragonmaster96, if you're interested.) but this is the height comparison chart that includes Claire and Toby, so here you go.

here is our lovely main character squad. the ones with the most plot armor(or literal armor) and the most trauma, yippy. XD they are all astonishingly tall and again, these are their cannon heights. except Jim, which I've learned that im 3 inches off and he's actually 7'5! i love that Dreamworks when making this series just thought, 'yeah, make all the main characters BLUE'. i mean im not complaining but i find it funny.

but that is it for the art drops. i would love to make an trollhunters fanart 'story' where i take in your commissions but thats for a later time.

i would like to preface a warning to you all though. the next few chapters are going to get messy with angst and suspense, so you have been warned. i don't think any new chapters will be out within the month at least because i have finals but i will be doing my best. as always i hope you enjoyed my little art drop and thanks for reading, Byeee~
