This takes place during Goka's pregnancy

month 3

Vegeta jolted awake, his breathing heavy as the remnants of a vivid nightmare lingered. In the dark silence, he found himself in their bedroom, the dim light revealing the contours of the furniture. It took a moment for him to realize that the distressing dream had involved worms, of all things.

As he tried to shake off the unsettling images, Vegeta became aware of a sound—soft, muffled retching. Frowning, he turned towards the source and saw Goka in the bathroom, her silhouette outlined by the faint glow of the nightlight.

Concern instantly replaced the remnants of his nightmare. Quietly, Vegeta got out of bed and approached the bathroom door. He could hear Goka's soft sighs between the sounds of nausea.

"Kakarota?" he called, knocking gently on the door.

The door creaked open, revealing Goka with a tired yet reassuring smile. "Vegeta, you're up. Sorry if I woke you."

Vegeta brushed off her apology. "What's wrong? Are you feeling alright?"

She glanced up, her face pale. "Morning sickness, I think. Or in my case, it seems more like all-day sickness."

Vegeta's furrowed brows softened with understanding. He hadn't anticipated the challenges that came with a Saiyan pregnancy. His hand gently rubbed her back as she finished retching.

"Sorry you had to see that," Goka managed a weak smile.

Vegeta shook his head, concern etched on his face. "Don't apologize. You're carrying our child. I should be helping you through this."

Goka appreciated his support, leaning against him as she caught her breath. "I wasn't expecting this to be easy, but I didn't think it would be quite so... messy."

Vegeta chuckled, his thumb brushing a strand of her hair behind her ear. "We Saiyans aren't exactly known for our elegance." He placed a gentle kiss on her forehead.

She smiled, a mix of exhaustion and gratitude in her eyes. "I'm glad you're here, Vegeta. Even if it means witnessing me at my worst."

Vegeta smirked. "Your 'worst' is still stronger than most."

They both chuckled, the weight of the night dissipating in the warmth of each other's company. In the quiet moments before sleep claimed them again, Vegeta marveled at the resilience of the woman beside him—his warrior, his partner, and now, the mother of their unborn child.

month 5

One evening, Goka and Vegeta found themselves on the couch, Goka's swollen ankles propped up on a cushion as they relaxed. The room was bathed in a warm, comforting glow.

Vegeta, always the observant one, couldn't help but notice the changes in Goka's appearance. He eyed her feet and casually remarked, "Your feet look a bit bigger."

Goka, already on the verge of tears due to the hormonal rollercoaster of pregnancy, felt a lump in her throat. In an instant, tears welled up in her eyes, and she looked at Vegeta with a mixture of sadness and confusion.

Vegeta's eyes widened in panic. He wasn't accustomed to handling crying women, let alone a pregnant Saiyan experiencing a flood of emotions.

Vegeta, alarmed by her sudden emotional shift, leaned in with genuine concern. "What's wrong, woman? Did I say something?"

Goka, sniffling, nodded. "You said my feet are bigger. And now I can't wear my favorite shoes, and... and..."  Goka sniffled, wiping away a tear. "It's not just my feet, It's everything. I feel big and clumsy, and my body is changing, and I don't know how to deal with it."
