"Beat me half to death, abused me in every what possible. Yeah, that Tony" Madelyn scoffs

"That's why you're here?!" April exclaims "To do what exactly? I mean why?"

"You need to leave" Madelyn says

"No, no. I'm not leaving until you tell me what the hell is happening" April says

"I can't!" Madelyn yells

"Yes you can" April says "He ruined your life an-"

"And you saved mine!" Madelyn interrupts "Which means I can't have you anywhere near him. He already knows you exist which is killing me inside right now. And I swear if he ever finds out about Alexis-"

"Madelyn" April says placing her hands on the brunettes face "What is happening?" she asks desperately

"I don't- I don't know" Madelyn replies begging to cry "I don't know anything anymore" she sobs

April pulls the brunette into her chest "Oh Maddy" she sighs stroking the brunettes hair

Madelyn pulls away from the hug but still remaining in the redheads arms "He sent me an email, one that threatened me. I didn't want him come to Washington so I thought I'd come here first, but now- now I don't know what to do"

"Why didn't you just tell me baby" April says softly

"Because I was scared that if you knew you'd try to help and then he'd find out about you and hurt you- and he can never hurt you, ever. Because that would be the worse thing he'd ever done to me" Madelyn says

"Why wouldn't you take legal action or-"

"Because then he'd have to come to me and-"

"He'd find out about your life" April finishes "I'm sure there's a way you can put an end to this without him ever finding anything out"

"Maybe" Madelyn whispers completely unsure

"Being here is now more dangerous especially since he knows exactly where we are. So let's go home. And we can figure out a plan together in the safety of our home and if we need to leave we'll leave. Together." April says

"I know why Amelia sent you" Madelyn says "She must've known, and she figured you were the only one who could possibly talk me out of anything"

"She wanted me here." April says

"Just to keep me sane" Madelyn says "That's so-"

"Amelia" April says

"I was gonna say infuriating, but, yeah" Madelyn smiles

April mirrors the brunettes smile "Alexis and I are lucky to have you. I feel safest when i'm with you. You took care of Alexis when I couldn't. You took care of me when I couldn't and you take care of me now, even when we're arguing, even if we're not together"

"Thank you. For everything" Madelyn says

"Of course" April replies with a small smile

"Hey!" Amelia waves when she sees April and Madelyn walking over to her at the airport "Look who's here Alexis" she coos

"Hi baby" April says taking Alexis into her arms

"Everything go okay?" Madelyn asks her sister

"Yeah"

"Good"

"Thank you" Madelyn says

"Oh, please, that's what family is for" Amelia replies

"No. I mean..."

"What?" Amelia asks

"You know what" Madelyn replies with a smile

"Of course" Amelia replies

"Now come here my little love bug" Madelyn says to Alexis who squeals in excitement "Oh I missed you so so much"

"You guys ready?" Amelia asks

"Yeah. Let's go home" Madelyn replies
