"Oh, no. No, she says the baby's sitting like a little Buddha, just like last time" April replies
"Last time?" Stephanie mutters to herself
Madelyn looks at the scan "Hey, there, little... thing" she says "All right, well, I got surgeries most of the day, so I'm gonna miss our lunch. Sorry" she apologises
"Aw" April replies
"Sorry love. Busy day"
"Okay, see you later" April says watching Madelyn leave "And I just lied to my wife. That's a great way to start parenthood lying. Awesome. Thanks, Edwards" the redhead scolds the resident
"I'm really sorry, but we're not done" Stephanie says
"Oh, we're done" April replies

"Hey Mads" Jo says softly walking up to the brunette "Has um, has Stephanie spoken to you?"
"About what?" Madelyn asks
"Oh nothing. She just mentioned something earlier and I thought she was going to run it past you" Jo says
"Oh okay. Well she hasn't said anything. Can't be that important"
"Yeah. Probably not" Jo says "Well, i'm here if you need me" she says with a sweet smile
"Thank you?" Madelyn questions as she gathers her stuff and walks towards the elevator, as Madelyn steps off the elevator she overhears someone say
"Cases like this are usually hopeless. This baby would have a very short, painful life. I'm sorry. So cute, sitting like a little Buddha"
The word Buddha makes Madelyn look up instantly and she's met with Stephanie looking heartbroken
"What was that about?" the brunette asks
