-carpe diem is actually supposed to have sister stories, details will be fleshed out later (whenever i feel like actually writing it out) —additional ocs will get their own stories in the same universe, so don't be alarmed if you see an unfamiliar name haha
-characters that weren't expanded on WILL be in here —this is a romance, but it will also focus on other characters to help make this a STORY and not just about joseph lol ——i honestly didn't want to tag this as a joseph descamps story so that people wouldn't only expect content on him (even though there should be A LOT), but this helps with gaining traction lol so here ya go!
-this story is a SLOWBURN —if you don't like those, this book will NOT be for you haha ——don't worry though, there are gonna be so many scenes for y'all to giggle and kick your footsies to
-story will mainly follow along in third person for sadie, but don't hold me to that in case i'm deciding to feel silly some days
-there's no schedule for updates, so you're gonna have to deal with my adhd writing habits —if you're waiting for an update don't message me to rush me, just send up a prayer that my hyperfixation will come back
-i'm not french and i don't know french, i only know english (barely), so bare with me if things are messy/inaccurate
-this show is based in the 60's in france— i was not alive in the sixties, nor was i anywhere near france, so there WILL be inaccuracies scattered around lol —i tried researching at first, but forgive me if i gave up in some places lmao
-i don't actually read a ton of fanfiction, so sorry if my characterization of the kids doesn't line up with everyone else's
-this book will be LONG —i'm sorry yall, but i yap A LOT; there are gonna be chapters that expand the episodes, but there's also a ton of the school year skipped throughout the show that i wanted to fill, so there are a lot of events that aren't canon in here!
-if you want a face claim for sadie, i honestly think yesly dimate is a great one for her lol —i didn't realize until i finished the outline of the plot that yesly was kind of perfect for this haha, but yall don't have to if you don't want that! feel free to use your imaginations!! she can just kind of help inspire your image of sadie if you'd like :)
