So I talked to Anne and dad and they seemed fine with it. I didn't tell them that Ariel was my daughter. That needed to be done in person. All I said was that a friend from when I was younger had this huge competition and asked if I could take care of Ariel for a few weeks. So next thing I know I'm back at the airport saying goodbye to Louis and the boys and Matt. Ariel hugged Matt goodbye and we got on the plane. We were sitting there when Ariel started asking me some questions "are you the same age as my daddy" she asked. I nodded "did you miss me" she asked. I smiled at her "every single day" I said. And it's true. I couldn't go more than two days without thinking about her. It broke my heart "are you and my daddy getting back together" she asked. I sighed "no sweetheart. We're not" I said quietly. She frowned "why not. Don't you like my daddy" she asked "of course I do. I love him. But I love somebody else very much. And he loves me" I explained "is that the man that kept kissing your cheek at the plane garage" she asked. I smiled "no. That's my brother. The man that was holding my hand is my boyfriend" I explained "ohhh. He's very nice" she said. I smiled. The. She snuggled down and fell asleep for the rest of the flight. Once we got home I carried her off the plane and went to meet dad Anne and Gemma in the airport. Dad and Anne hugged me then waited for the luggage while Gemma and I took Ariel to the car "so. She looks a lot like you" Gemma said. I shrugged "people used to mistake Matt and I for brother and sister when we were younger" I lied. She nodded her head slowly "she's your daughter isn't she" Gemma asked. I froze "yeah" I said quietly as I nodded "when are you gonna tell them" she asked "as soon as we get home. So can you do me a favour and take Ariel up to my room and keep her either asleep or take her outside to the park or something. I don't want her to hear anything that happens" I explained. Gemma nodded "thank you" I mouthed as dad and Anne walked over with the luggage
