the familiar creak of the door announced aizawa's return to the faculty office. the room, a cluster of cubicles marked by individual workstations, reflected his pragmatic and straightforward approach to heroics. his designated space, amidst a sea of cubicle partitions, stood as a testament to the disorder of his work environment.

seating himself amidst the chaos, aizawa's gaze shifted toward the computer, a rare flicker of curiosity surfacing in his otherwise tired eyes. it was time to delve into the administrative side of his responsibilities.

fingers moved with practiced efficiency across the keyboard as aizawa logged into the ua system. the cubicle, cluttered with an assortment of scattered papers, coffee-stained notebooks, and the remnants of a late lunch, became the backdrop to his digital investigation.

with a straightforward motion, he navigated to the search bar and typed, "miyazaki sora." the computer whirred to life, displaying the results of the search amidst the disarray on his desk.

what first appeared after entering her name was a comprehensive profile, displaying details like her name, age, birthday, place of birth, mother's name, and father's name. aizawa felt his eye twitch involuntarily upon reading her father's name—miyazaki hiroto.

a faint sense of familiarity teased at the edge of his consciousness, but he quickly dismissed it when he noted that the entry recorded his deceased status.

brushing aside the fleeting connection, aizawa navigated to the next crucial piece of information. opening her recommendation file, the digital records unfolded before him like a scroll.

the screen displayed an intricate account of her journey—from the entrance exam to her standout performance, accompanied by a recommendation letter from none other than the esteemed hero, hawks.

his eyes scanned the document, seeking details beyond the surface. aizawa, with his typical poker face, processed the data meticulously. each line held a story, each recommendation spoke of potential. it was not just about quirks and exam scores; it was about glimpsing into the unique journey of a student who stood out, even among the recommended ones.

driven by curiosity, he pressed play on the recording of her performance. from the initial moments when she walked to the center, to the tremors that marked the beginning of her showcase.

the simulation unfolded—the building rising from the ground, the arrival of the robot, her adept dodging, the introduction of smaller robots, her methodical defeat of each one, the fluidity in her movements as she ran, the strategic shield she created to protect herself from the falling robot, and finally, the effortless extraction of the core as if it were a mere trinket. every detail was scrutinized as aizawa observed her prowess in action.

as the holographic projection played out miyazaki sora's remarkable performance, aizawa's stoic expression betrayed a subtle shift. his eyes, usually masked by disinterest, flickered with a hint of acknowledgment.

the corners of his mouth twitched, almost imperceptibly, a silent admittance to the undeniable talent displayed before him. though he maintained his composure, the nuanced changes in his demeanor betrayed a deeper appreciation for the exceptional skill set of the student he had just witnessed in action.

under his breath, aizawa muttered, "peculiar." the enigma surrounding miyazaki sora piqued his interest, and thoughts of her family background, particularly her father, lingered in his mind as he closed the files, shut down the computer, and prepared to leave his cluttered cubicle. deciding that he had seen enough for the day, he left the faculty office, leaving the mysteries of sora for another time.
