Said and Ophelia thought Alessia how to control her new powers. Ophelia was happy that her daughter had finally unlocked her element, she was a witch as she had wished. They left and Alessia was left alone. She tested and played around with her powers until there was a knock on her door. The knock caught her off guard and she let go of the vase that she was just playing with. Regaining her composure, she used her newly found powers to restore the vase back to it's previous state. Opening the door, she saw one of the maids. "Luna" the maid greeted bowing her heads. Alessia was stunned by this gesture. "The alpha wants you to join him for dinner",the maid said, and she left. Alessia went down to have dinner with Dylan.

When Dylan saw Alessia,he couldn't help but stand up from his seat and stare at her. She walked over to him and said "I don't think I have the appetite to eat with you". Little did she know, he had already made up his mind to confess his feelings for her. Right at that moment, the cook came out from the kitchen with a tray in hand, but as soon as he saw Dylan's back, he quickly unconvered the tray. It turned out that inside the tray that was meant to carry food in it was carrying a gun. Alessia noticed this and squinted her eyes at the cook. In a split second, the cook dropped the tray and aimed the gun at Dylan. Dylan noticed that something wasn't right, he was about to turn back to look at what Alessia was looking at. But Alessia pushed Dylan out of the way just in time. She took the bullet in Dylan's place. The cook was immediately held down by the rest of the present pack house staffs. Dylan felt like his heart stopped beating. He saw Alessia getting shot and falling down and lying in a pool of her own blood. Dylan felt an excruciating pain through their bond. "Call the doctor" he ordered. "He isn't around" one of the staffs responded. He got up from the floor and immediately separated the cooks head from his body without any warning. Dylan picked Alessia up and rushed to the infirmary in the pack house. He was going to treat her and save her life. Even though he was scared on the inside, he managed to stay composed on the outside. It was crucial for him to remain calm in order to ensure her survival. Once they reached the infirmary, he wasted no time and started operating on her. With steady hands, he opened her chest and discovered that the bullet had narrowly missed her heart. That was a huge relief! He carefully removed the bullet, disinfected the wound, and applied pain-numbing cream to help alleviate her discomfort. Throughout the entire process, he couldn't help but worry because Alessia didn't have a wolf to aid in her healing. It was a tense and nerve-wracking situation, but he did everything he could to save her. "Wake up my love please." Dylan pleaded bitterly with a lone tear rolling down his left cheek.
Few hours later, Alessia woke up in her room. Just then Dylan walked in. She turned to look at him. She remembered everything that happened. "What are you doing here?" She asked shocked to see him. "And how am I alive?" She asked. "I treated you" Dylan responded. "And I wanted to know if you'll be fit to attend the Luna's ceremony." He added.
'That's it? That's why he is here.' She said to herself. She looked at him with tears welling up in her eyes. She came down from her bed and said "Leave." "Why?" Dylan asked confused. She looked at him. No longer being able to hold her feelings anymore, she let the tears fall and said "I took a bullet and all you care about is her, your Luna. It isn't fair and here I am falling miserably for you. I know I wasn't meant to, but I fell for you." She said.
