Chapter 5- Secret Agreement?

Nischay~ (A month later)
I woke up listening to some serious discussions. Atleast my parents believed it was one. They were arguing upon something.
"He should get married now."
"But he's so young, and his elder brother ain't married yet."
"But if he's ready with the girl he loves, let him get married first"
"But-"

I interrupt their conversation with the most stupid thing I could think of.. "Good morning guyss" And the next second I got scolding, ofcourse. "What's up with the fight? Why are you both yelling early in the morning huh?"

"Dekh na Nischay, ye teri mummy. Mai isko bol raha hu Abbu ki shaadi karade, par isse teri shaadi karwani hai pehle. Aaji jab bahu tayaar hai toh hum wait kyu kare?" My dad pouted and I started laughing.

"Meri shaadi? Kisse mummy?" I laughed again.

"Y/n se. Bhul gaya tu? Tujhe short term memory loss hai kya?" My mom rolled her eyes.

"Wo kon? Waitt, no way. I can't get married to her, she's clingy" I roll my eyes like mom making her laugh.

"Please beta, ya toh tu karle ya Abhishek ko karne de. Warna mera bahu lane ka sapna, sapna reh jayega" Mummy ranted.

"Toh abbu ki hi karado. I'm not ready yet. You know very well why" I said being a little sad.

"Acha Dimple wo sab chor, chal breakfast de aur chai le aana" Dad left.

I started up the stairs. Y/n? Should I marry her? But Ava. I can't think of anything. I didn't think about these things since a month. I've been involved in a few mafia missions and also had to do alot of office work. I was the chairman of some important ISRO mission. Being busy keeps you away from all these thoughts. But since I have no work for the next one week, all these thoughts will keep troubling me (sigh). Should I make a video? Aha, let's have a bath and make something fun~

I was recording my video but then I received a notification. I opened it just to see my mom's message which said:

"Jaldi tayaar hoke neeche aaja. Teri shaadi ki baat Y/n ki mummy se karli hai, ab marriage date fix karne wo aare hai"

I read the message and was in utter shock. A tear rolled down my cheek. No matter how many times I deny, in the end.. This will happen one day. I take a deep breath and get ready.

Jo hoga, dekha jayega. I live for my parents and they're the reason I am alive so I'll do anything for them and respect their decision. I will sacrifice anything for them. Their wish is my command! Huh, take a deep breathe and forget everything else. No, I can't forget you Ava! I miss you. Please come back💔

Today I'm finally free after treating alot of patients. I had a busy schedule last month but now I have no work for the coming few days. You know, it's the time of Christmas and New Year! Best time of the year indeed!
Although I just sleep these days, they are very comforting and the beginning of a new start, new self you know. I hope this year is the best for everyone.

"Y/n" My mom called.

"What is it hm?" I shouted.

"Come here, we need to talk" She shouted back. I went running down the stairs.

"Kya hai mummy?" I ask her.

"Y/n, we're going to fix your marriage date" She said making a serious face.
