Chapter 4

I'm kinda excited because this has been the longest that I've ever stuck to a story. I know it's only been 4 days but that's a lot for me. 😅 I can't wait to write the rest of this story (even though I don't have many, or any reads)

Tanjiro's pov:
Iguro is having a panic attack. I pull him into a hug and rub circles in his back to try to calm him down. I have some experience with calming people down since one of my sibling had bad anxiety.
We stay there for a while. Kanroji was just awkwardly staring at us probably not knowing what to do. She eventually comes over to us and joins in the hug.
Iguro's breath is still uneven but he's not trembling as bad and he's not crying anymore. He looks at me for a second but looks away quickly. He must be a little embarrassed that he broke down like that.

Obanai's pov:
As soon as I calmed down enough I got up and looked away from the others. They probably think I'm pathetic. Is this going to keep going? I don't know if I can watch any more of it.
Just as I think that I see a snake slither into the cell. Past me looks at him for a second and grabs him. I was chipping slowly at the door of the cell with a hair ornament. Mitsuri and Kamado are just watching it with sympathy. Knowing what happens next I brace myself.
Past me runs out of the cell which causes us slayers to keep teleporting following it.
After a bit the snake demon catches up but as it was about to kill me, Mr. Rengoku comes and cuts off the demons head. He comes up to past me to check if I was ok.

Mitsuri's pov:
Kyojiro's dad is sooo cool!!!! Is this why Obanai isn't as cold towards him as he is to other people? Kyojiro's dad checks on Obanai. Then another child runs towards the two. She has blue eyes and black hair so I assume that she is related to him.
"It's all your fault!!!" She yells at Obanai shoving him to the ground. I see Obanai flinch as he watches.
"Everyone got killed because of you!!!" She continued. "Fifty people died and you killed them!!! You're just a sacrifice!! You should've just stayed quiet and let her eat you!!!" She harshly yells at the small boy who just watches her.
Finally Kyojiro's dad holds her back and tells her to stop. She runs away and Kyojiro's dad carries Obanai away to get his wounds treated.

Tanjiro's pov:
Suddenly everything begins to spin. We appear in a house that I recognize as the Rengoku house.
Mr. Rengoku is standing with Rengoku by his side. He introduces the two.
Everything spins again which I think means that time is moving forward. We see them playing together and Rengoku asks Iguro. "What's under your mask? You never take it off" Iguro looks surprised.
"Umm... its... just..." he stutters. "It's nothing..." he answers. Rengoku didn't look satisfied with the answer but didn't question it as he saw how uncomfortable the question made him.
"Ok!" Rengoku answers and they continue playing together.

Mitsuri's pov:
Awww they are so cute!!! I look at Obanai who seems embarrassed again. But why? It's so cute and wholesome. I just want to squish them.
But then things start spinning again. Ugh can't it just stop doing that? I look around at our surroundings, there are wisteria trees everywhere. This must be the final selection. There are a couple of demon slayers that passed the final selection. They all looked pretty scared. Is everyone that scared when becoming a demon slayer? I don't remember my own final selection.
But where's Obanai? I look around until I see a short boy in a tree waiting for others to join them at the end of the selection. He looks rather unfazed.
Finally it's time for them to get their crows. One comes up to Obanai but immediately flies away as Kaburamaru snaps at it, trying to get a snack. I knew that Obanai didn't have a crow. Sometimes someone else's crow would go to him to tell him messages.
Spinning... again!?!? I'm so dizzy already. Now it looks like a hashira meeting but most of the hashiras aren't there. This must be before they became hashiras. The master introduced, "We have a new hashira today." Everyone looks at Obanai who looks slightly uncomfortable. "This is Obanai Iguro." The master tells the others.
I see Sanemi look at him and immediately looks like he's taken a liking to him. So this is where the bromance starts huh?
After all of these happy memories surely things can't go down again right?
I feel the world spinning around us worse than last time. This time I can't keep my eyes open. The world goes black and I can feel myself fall.

Tanjiro's pov:
Is it finally over? It's spinning worse than last time which could mean that they are taking us back to the present.
I hear a little crash. I feel my eyes close. I'm so dizzy. I can't stay awake...

Bonus! Nezuko's pov:
The kakushi come over and carry the three unconscious people carefully to the butterfly mansion. I wonder why they aren't being affected by the blood demon art.
I go to the butterfly mansion with them. Aoi says that they will all be ok and are just unconscious which must just be from the blood demon art. I nod and go to my box where I go to sleep.
I hope that they will wake up soon. It's been a few hours...

Yayyyy!!! Another Chapter. I am aware that no one is reading this or waiting for updates but that wont stop me from updating this story! I don't know how long this story is so I guess we will see. Also, I'm counting slightly in the past as part of the present which isn't exactly the same as the Scrooge movie but I mean, it's my story so I can do whatever I want. Have a good day/night!!!
