EP XXVIII

"what are you doing here, aunty?" I nervously smiled at her, puzzled on why she is standing here

"y/n, I want to talk to you about something" she sounded serious. even tho I was confused, I still nodded nonetheless

"follow me.." she said and started to walk 'what does she wanna talk about suddenly?' I questioned myself before following her, letting her take me where ever she wanted

after a mere one minute walk, I found myself in a bedroom and it was a huge one, a master bedroom maybe?

"sit here, y/n" I looked at jungkook's mother, who pointed towards the sofa

I nodded and made my self comfortable on the sofa as she sat down beside me

"what did you want to talk about, aunty?" I asked making her sigh

why did she sigh?

will she tell me to leave jungkook?

I blinked when she placed her palm on top of my hands "y/n dear, I hope you don't mind me asking.." she looked up at my eyes making me the one to worry now

"what is it, aunty?" I asked as she sighed again before looking up at me again

"do you have any issues with your parents?"

my eyes widened

"w-what made you ask me that?" my voice stuttered while I felt my breathing becoming uneven again

"I noticed how you reacted at the mention of your parents.. you looked like you had a hard time talking about them and I am also noticing your eyes glistening again like they did back in the dining room" she confessed, making me meet her eyes with my overwhelmed expression

"I.. I-" it seemed like I had lost my voice to speak. I couldn't hold myself back anymore when I felt my body being engulfed in a warm embrace

"shh , y/n. It's alright" she repeated comfort words to me while patting my hair

I felt so comfortable in her embrace that I kept on crying

my crying and sobbing session finally came to a stop. I pulled my self out of her arms as she looked at me "how do you feel?" I nodded and assured her that I was alright now

"you know, you can share everything with me" she said as I sniffed "if your comfortable.."

"it's just that.. I always wanted to be in a fashion designing company and as my father already has a company of his own, he wanted me to work there" I wiped my tears before continuing

"Father wanted me to take care of his company but I told him that I had different dreams and plans. He disagreed and we kept on arguing about it. And that day finally came when my father and mother had enough of me and said that they don't want me as.. t-their daughter anymore" I choked on my voice

"I moved out and went to Busan for a new start.. started working there according to my dream and also got my life together" a smile formed on my lips as I remembered my rookie self as a secretary

"It was very hard but I got through it with my two best friends's and my elder brother's support"

"you're so strong, y/n-ah" she voiced

my face lit up as I looked up at her face to see her lips holding a smile which made my heart melt

"I'm really proud of you" I gave in to her hug that she was offering

"I do miss them a lot sometimes" a sigh left my mouth as she rubbed my arms for comfort "they're your parents after all" she smiled which made me smile as well

a knock was suddenly heard as we broke our hug. Mrs. Jeon got up making me stand up as well "y/n, use the attached bathroom and wash your face, alright?" she smiled making me nod before I made my way there as she went to open the door to see who it was

End of Perspective

"Jungkook? what are you doing?" Jungkook's mom asked. her brows furrowed when she saw his eyes peaking inside the room and he looked like as if he was trying to find something or someone?

"already desperate for your girlfriend?" her question made jungkook switch his focus to the elder as his body relaxed "I was just worried.." he scratched the back of his neck when a third voice was heard

"aunty, who was it? oh, j-jungkook" you stuttered his name when you both made eye contact "you two have so much tension between you two!" Jungkook's mother chuckled and shook her head before leaving the scene

a light shade of pink spread across your cheeks when you realized that he had caught you losing your focus when you made eye contact with him

"what's gotten into you?" his raspy voice suddenly appeared make you snap your head up to see that he was standing right in front of you now

"w-what? no no, n-nothing" you gulped before walking past him, out of the room

you don't know why, but you felt weird tension between you both. you never felt it before tho. you shook away your thoughts and sighed before making your way towards the living room, where your boss's parents were

Time skip

"here's the finalized plan, you can go through and let me know if you wanted to make any changes" you informed while handling him the black file to him

"No, I like this how it is already. I don't  think there's any need for changes" after he was done checking everything, he announced his answer to you while passing the file back to you again

you nodded and took it on your grasp. you were about to tell him something until a ringtone interrupted you

you excused yourself before taking your phone out of your coat and looking at the caller ID

Jungkook was working on his laptop when his eyes fell on your figure. he furrowed when he saw your hands shaking and face painted in such expression as if you saw something that took the soul out of you

he got up from his seat and immediately walked up to you

"M-Ms. Euk" he held you by your arms to give you support

he got worried. he was about to ask what is wrong until you said something with your shaky voice

"a-appa.. he is calling me"

ya'll it's annoying me that I have so many stories in my mind but I can't write it until I finish this one T_T
