3rd person POV:

Summer was ending, but y/n wasn't to torn about it. Usually, they would say that being at school was better than being at home, but this time it was different. They were being sent to a "K-12 sleepaway school" and it didn't sound very.. good.

They had gotten their uniform, an itchy dress that looked straight out of a cartoon. They had spent the last few weeks dying it blue, to make it a bit more bearable able to wear. It had been slowly drying in their closet, and it was now time to put it on.

After making themself breakfast, they put it on. It was still just as uncomfortable, but they just tried to disregard it. They grabbed the backpack that was covered with dust from the corner, and reluctantly walked to the bus stop.

It was still considered summer, but the air was cold outside. That didn't matter, however, as the bus arrived almost immediately. It was a pink school bus, an unusual color as you could imagine. They stepped in, sitting down in a seat next to a girl with a purple uniform and half blonde, half black hair.

As the bus started moving, they could immediately tell, that this girl was an empath as well. They just didn't know how to mention it to her. (Yes I know crybaby was already sitting with somebody on the bus, just pretend it wasn't like that)

(Wheels on the bus happens, sorry I'm too lazy to write it out) Eventually, y/n gained the courage to speak up, well, not exactly. She passed crybaby a note, which she read as her eyes widened.

Crybaby quickly put the note into her pocket, smiling towards y/n. They quickly became friends, talking the rest of the way to school.

(The bus going underwater and then floating happens, Yk)

The bus slowly came to a stop, and the doors opened. Y/n and crybaby walked out, looking at the front of the school. It looked more like a prison from the outside, but you probably couldn't tell the difference if you went to the school.

"Well, time for the first day of hell.." Crybaby whispered sarcastically.

Y/n looked over at her, smiling in a malicious way, and grabbing crybaby's hand and running with crybaby behind. Walking around the long hallways was like trying to escape a maze, but there was no end.

They walked down the long hallways, as y/n counted the rooms,

"220, 221," they listed, eventually stopping dead in their tracks.

"222." Y/n and crybaby said in sync, looking at the dark wooden door.

Crybaby sighed, walking inside. With y/n behind them.
