Chapter 13

As day went by, Lomon was getting better. He was recovering while I stayed beside him. The time that we spent together was enough to know we were the strength for each other.

I woke up with a light feeling in my chest, knowing that today was the day - the day Lomon and I would go on our first date. I couldn't help but feel excited and a little nervous at the same time. It wasn't just any date, he had specifically planned for us to go to an amusement park.

I quickly got dressed and put on a light layer of makeup, wanting to look my best for him. As I walked out of my apartment, I saw Lomon waiting for me, smiling brightly like he always did. He looked so handsome in his casual outfit, and I couldn't help but feel grateful that he chose me to spend the day with.

We got into his car and started driving towards the amusement park. I could feel the anticipation building up in my chest, and Lomon could definitely sense it too. He started making funny jokes and telling me stories to make me laugh, and I couldn't help but feel at ease in his company.

As we arrived at the amusement park, I was taken aback by the sheer size and excitement of the place. Lomon grabbed my hand and led me inside, excited to show me all the rides and attractions that he had planned for us.

We spent the day going on roller coasters, playing games and indulging in some delicious carnival food. But what I loved the most was the time we spent together, just walking around and talking about everything and anything.

As the sun started to set, we found ourselves walking towards the ferris wheel. It was something that both of us had always wanted to try. As we went up, the view of the entire amusement park was breathtaking, but what I loved the most was the fact that I was there with him.

As we ascended higher and higher into the sky, Lomon turned to me with a nervous expression on his face. "Haejin, there's something I've been meaning to ask you." My heart skipped a beat as he took my hand in his.

"I've had so much fun getting to know you, and I feel like we have a really great connection. I was wondering if you would do me the honor of being my girlfriend?"

My eyes widened in surprise, and then a huge smile spread across my face. "Yes! Of course, I will!"

Lomon let out a huge sigh of relief, and then leaned over to give me a gentle kiss on the lip. I felt like I was on top of the world as we continued our ride on the Ferris wheel, holding hands and talking excitedly about all the fun adventures we would have together.

As we stepped off the ride, Lomon handed me a stuffed animal he had won for me at one of the carnival games. "I want you to remember this day forever, Haejin. I'm so glad we're officially together now."

I hugged the stuffed animal tightly to my chest and looked up at Lomon with stars in my eyes. "Me too, Lomon. Me too."
