He gulped hard as he sat back down.

He can't like Jennie Kim...

His father would kill him!

But...

He concentrated on the lesson hard and at the end of the lesson, the teacher made an announcement, "Everyone, since you're all graduating next week, the principal is willing for a student to take care of all the decorations of the event which meant we need responsible students to do so and I got four people, Kim Taehyung, Kim Jennie, Park Roseanne and Park Jimin."

Roseanne and Jimin are so happy that they didn't hesitate to do a high-five when everyone walked out of the classroom and Jennie excitedly looked at Taehyung.

"We're all going to decorate the event! We are going to do it! Why are you looking so fearful? High-five!" Jennie raised up her hand and Taehyung didn't move, he just kept on staring at her as if he made some discovery about girls' faces. He blinked as he bit his lip, standing up quickly to run out of the classroom.

He heard the rest calling him...

But he ignored them. This is bad...

...

That night, Taehyung was having dinner with his parents. The tension between the three of them was so completely awkward that Taehyung couldn't help but cringe at times.

Finally, he has the urge to say something.

"Dad." He called out nervously, gaining his father's attention. "What if I want to tell you something."

His father looked at him suspiciously. "I think I have no time, son. Speak!" Then he rubbed his beard.

"I think I'm liking a girl." He spoke up and there was silence. His father blinked a few times at him while his mother struggled to hide her laughter.

"Son, is she distracting you?" His father asked and Taehyung was surprised by his father's calmness. He fidgeted in his seat.

"No, in our first year, she was new in the school and I couldn't help but feel quite nervous around her but I didn't let my behavior around her affect my studies but now, I'm boldly saying I think I like her." Taehyung said sternly. "Heck, I even ran away from the classroom because she was looking at me, strange?"

"How's your relationship with her?" His mother asked and he answered, "We're on good terms, kinda."

Silence.

His mother and father exchanged a look, and burst into laughter which scared him and he glanced at both of them confused.

"Son, I just said you shouldn't let a girl to distract you from studies, when did I say you can't date?!" His father laughed as he and his wife stood up, leaving the dining room.

Taehyung needed five minutes to process.

He groaned, slamming his head onto the table, feeling ashamed and embarrassed for one night.

Jimin's right all along.

He's indeed stupid.

...

Regardless of the fact, Taehyung revealed that he likes Jennie to Jimin but told him he shouldn't tell Jennie or even Roseanne.

Soon, the week passed by quickly and the door were busy preparing the graduation ceremony for the parents and teachers...they had a talk in a cafe and decided it'll be unique so they chose red and gold for the venue and graduation gowns and cap.

The teachers and principal are impressed.

But ever since then, Taehyung avoided Jennie. Even if he now he likes her and he can date, he's just a bit scared Jennie does not like him too. So anytime she tries hard to talk to him, he will make an excuse and leave immediately (thank goodness, he's stuttering less around her.)

Finally, the day of the engagement arrives and the graduating boys were in an empty classroom, talking loudly and playing and stuff. They are neatly dressed in their gowns and caps. There's remaining a few minutes left before the event started.

Suddenly, there's a knock on the door and Jimin who's holding a soda, opened the door and he stiffened. Sadly, his frame was covering the person on the other side.

"Jim, who is it?" Taehyung asked.

Jimin said nothing but he moved out of the way and standing there was...Jennie! Taehyung yelped upon seeing her. She's wearing her gown and her cap was now lazily atop her hair and she's holding up a scary murderous look on her face.

Taehyung gulped hard.

"KIM TAEHYUNG!" She shouted and that caused all of the boys to flinch. "I NEED YOU OUT RIGHT NOW!"

Taehyung stayed rooted to the ground.

Jennie lost all her patience and went in, grabbing Taehyung's hand and pulled him outside. Taehyung followed her just like an obedient dog.

Jennie took him into an empty classroom and looked at him fiercely. Without any warning, she kissed him aggressively and Taehyung was out cold for a second.

She pulled away. "I like you Taehyung for a long time! Have you had no idea why I'll like to be your friend on our first day in first year! The times I'll find excuses to see you and talk to you! When you started to avoid me, I started to get scared that you don't want me in your life anymore." She pouts.

Taehyung was speechless, his eyes were just staring into hers. For the first time in four years, he has never felt nervous at all, instead he felt giddy and confident.

"I like you too." He said and gently kissed her and Jennie didn't waste a second to kiss him back. The two kisses passionately in the empty classroom, smiling.

If it wasn't for Taehyung's stuttering then they would have never find their way to each other, ever.

END OF OH, THESE OCEAN HONEY BROWN EYES

Sorry for this boring one shot, this is written in a hurry. I am sad to say that I don't have ideas left and until I have an idea, this book is on hold...but I'll be lucky for requests. If you tell me a request, the one shot is now dedicated to you. Can't promise the one shots are going to long from this time onwards.
